I did this project with L a few years ago. He was probably around 15 months or so? B had made a screen for the theatre room which we ultimately decided that we did not like as much as just the screen projecting onto the plain wall. For whatever reason, it looks better just on the wall.
So this left us with a giant screen. B mentioned taking it apart and I about freaked out on him. I saw it as a giant canvas for an art project ;). I threw some sheets on the basement floor, put out some paints and let L go to town. And did he ever! I think it was one of his favorite projects ever, although he does not remember it at all. B, L and I all put our handprints on there, which is my favorite part. Someone B (who wore a white shirt for the project) remained totally clean, while I was covered in paint.
We now have the painting hanging on a wall in the basement. I may be biased, but I think it is the greatest piece of art ever!
