I won’t forget….

Can you believe it has already been 10 years since the September 11th attacks? It’s a day none of us will ever forget, so I thought we could share where we were when we found out.

I was at work (at an offsite location) in a remote conference room. Far away from the hussle and bussle of office life. Someone passing by knocked on the door and let my co-worker and I know what was going on. We spent the rest of the day listening to the radio (I think) and watching tv in someone’s office. The internet was very slow and we had trouble getting online all day. I will also never forget this day because I received my first pair of Juicy Couture velour pants in the mail.

B was in (Army) boot camp in Fort Knox, KY. He was informed by his instructors of what happened and I believe they were allowed to watch a bit of tv so that they could see what was going on. He said that lots of people were very scared about what had happened and many assumed they would be sent to war asap. Of course, B was not overly concerned since not much worries him.

No matter what you do today, take some time and remember what happened 10 years ago today. And tell us, where were you that day?

I was just getting to work when I heard about the 1st plane hitting the WTC and thought like many others that it was just a small plane that had problem and hit it. It was really hard to work because I wanted to stay glued to the radio. I was also worried sick about Bryan as I thought an army base would be a perfect target. I was also glad Bush was President and not Gore.
