Just wanted to share this years apothecary jars real quick. I went with red and white again since I still am still eating M&M’s from last years jars ;). Does anyone have any other cheap and easy red & white ideas??
LOVE THEM! I am probably going to copy you! Last year, I filled my vases with red/white small peppermint candy and multi-color mini ornaments – but I am loving the candy canes and bows! (Here they are w/ halloween candy corn: http://diariesofdoers.blogspot.com/2011/11/cheersng-to-freakin-weekend.html )
I always love those jars! I really wanted to do three edible stuff in my jars (which are smaller). I was thinking candy canes, little peppermints and maybe hershey kisses. Any other wrapped candy ideas? Mine is on my buffet in the dining room and want people to help themselves!
Do you know that those have been pinned and repinned a million times!? You’re famous!
Yup! I saw ’em on Pinterest too!
Where did you get the jars?
I got them a few years back at Costco.
I used silver and white sixlets in my apothecary jar. It’s nice to have a little bit of chocolate that doesn’t melt too fast. You can buy color specific sixlets at stores like Party City.
Also, if you don’t want to be stuck with too many M&M’s for days again, put a can of corn or a clear cylinder vase, upside down, in the middle to take up space.
