So, I need a little help and thought maybe you all could help!  Are you in?  Good.

  • I want to get some Onesie Stickers from Etsy for the new baby, but I do not even know where to begin.  There are so many sellers that offer them.  How do I even begin to choose?  So I need to know if any of you have ever bought any from Etsy (or anywhere else) and how did you like them?  And do you just stick them on onesies?  And they stay?
  • Where are L’s boots?  I am not even kidding.  Where are those damn things?  It’s driving me nuts.
  • What kind of window treatments do you have in your house?  Curtains, blinds, what?  Yeah, I have lived in my house for just over three years and still have “temporary” blinds up.  I just have no idea what I want and thought maybe I would have a clue by now.  But I don’t.  Help me!
  • And finally, I am taking suggestions for baby names.  Are there any boy names you just totally love?  I have a some girls names I adore (Lauren and Molly), but clearly those will not be working for this guy ;).

Spread the love

I’m not sure about the onesie stickers, although they have a ton of cute iron ons at JoAnne’s and Michaels if you want to be able to see it in person.

What’s that saying??? It’s always the last place you look… Have you asked Lucas? Perhaps he hid them on you & thinks they are playing hide & seek! LOL

Going thru homes as often as I do, I find that I prefer the imitation wood blinds (get the look of wood for less & they are easier to clean) or the honeycomb blinds which is what I have. The downfall to the honeycomb blinds is that you have to vacuum them to keep them clean from dust & they may not be “Lucas proof” with markers, crayons, etc…but I do love that there aren’t any cords on them to get tangled or pose any risk for the kids.

I LOVE the name Brayden (Brady) and Camden for boys 🙂 I’m sure you will pick a name that fits him as perfectly as you did for Lucas!

Ps… I recommend putting some type of blind in even if you do curtains except on doorwalls… it allows you to filter light and have some privacy without darkening the room like a full curtain would.

I love the name Gavin for a boy!

I’d be nervous about just a sticker…I’d do an iron-on.

Boy names….well, I’m probably the wrong one to ask. I like old fashioned names. If Leah had been a boy, she would have been Henry. I also kinda like the name Emery.

Baby name? That’s an easy one. Tim Tebow V.

I used up my boy names on my boys so if Dustin and I ever have another boy we are screwed haha! I do like Jonah but it doesn’t go good with our last name. Whatever you do, don’t use the boy names Kyle and Nikki like because supposedly I stole the name Mason from them but I had that named picked out way before talking to them about baby names.

    1. Jennifer

Well what names do they like??? Wait don’t tell me because I’m
not changing it. It’s whoever has the baby first. lol.

      1. Kelsey

They aren’t even planning on having kids for awhile and I’m sure by then they will have totally different names picked out. I can’t even remember what the other 2 names were all I know is Nikki was pissed when she found out Mason was my baby name haha!

We have plantations shutters and they come highly recommended. I guess they’re a bit pricey compared to other options, but they’re super easy to dust and they kind of frame your windows (like crown molding). Worth the $$ IMO!

Both of my girls were going to be Hudson had they been boys. Love that name.

One of my BFF”s so wants us to use Hudson! She even addressed our Christmas card that way! I am thinking of Hudson for a middle name.

I love Hudson and I like it with your last name.

Jack (not Jackson) Hudson or Chase Hudson

I love your blog! I’ve been reading for a few months now but this is my first comment. Congrats on baby #2!

We had the temporary blinds for about a year. Our house is pretty private, only about 2 windows that our neighbors can see into. I found that on the windows where we didnt need to block light (living room, dining room, etc.) I loved having the open feel of nothing blocking the windows, so I went with just curtains everywhere. It makes the house feel more open. And blinds are just dust catchers in my opinion. JC Penney has really great prices and BEAUTIFUL options for curtains, very similar to Pottery Barn in style but about 1/3 of the price. Happy shopping!

Boy names were tough for me and J b/c he liked super traditional like “Bryan and Ryan” and I liked Jackson and Owen. If KP would have been a boy she would have been Lucas so…yeah I’m no help.

Sorry it tooke me a while to get back…I used Picky sticky. http://www.pickysticky.com
I highly recommend the stickers. Very sticky and no fuss! In fact, I think I’m going to buy the second year stickers. I made a banner for her first birthday with all the months, be on the look out for that on FB! 😉

As for baby names, you will never go for these but… I love the names Ace (favorite!) and Zane. I do NOT like any “unisex” name to be used for a boy, ie, I love the name Sawyer for a girl (go figure) but not for a boy.

I think you should stick with L names….. but personally I love Landon, Logan or my all time fav LENNON…. Carson or camden is nice too good luck!!!!
