Unlike the rest of the suburban housewives in the United States, I am not reading 50 Shades of Grey. Although if I went on beach vacation with no kids and lots of frozen drinks, I might read it. I am currently “reading” “I’ve Got Your Number” buy Sophie Kinsella. I couldn’t tell you what it’s about though since I haven’t picked it up in months, but I think it was good. Maybe this weekend?

Other than my boys which would always be #1?? This amazing weather! It’s 80 and sunny and I am blogging from my backyard!

Teal Target tee, black capris and Tory Burch flip flops. It sounds alot better than it looks. I have spaghetti on my shirt.

current excitement:
The holiday weekend!  Weekends aren’t that exciting to me anymore since I am retired. But holiday weekends are always fun and so is spending time with B.

current mood:
Happy. W is sleeping, L is playing in his sandbox. The dogs are quiet and I am working on my tan. It could all change in 2 minutes, but right now, life is good!

Oh geez, I HATE quotes and verses that get posted on Facebook, etc. But I did like this one: I should just change my voicemail greeting to: ‘Please hang up and text me.’

current wish list item:

A Birkin Bag. Thanks to my friend (you know who you are) who posted pictures of her three amazing Birkins, I’m in love. This bag may never live in my closet, but if I am ever in NYC, I know where I can go visit (and hold) a few;).

current favorite product:

I bought this yesterday at Target and I just think it’s so cute! They had a while kind of ice cream candles (they were packaged in cute little ice cream cartons) and diffusers. It hasn’t really gotten a chance to make my house smell yummy, but packaging alone won me over.
