It’s So What Wednesday over at Life After I Dew and I’m linking up! This week I am saying SO WHAT if..

  • I let L pick out the ugliest Thomas the Train bathing suit ever last week when he came shopping with me.  I was really only planning on getting stuff for W, but I didn’t want him to feel left out.
  • I felt like I was on vacation yesterday afternoon while L was playing at the neighbor’s house and W was sleeping.
  • I want to start an Etsy store, but I am not sure what I want to sell.  All my crafts seem to cost just a tad less than they sell for on Etsy?  Do these people even make any money?
  • I am going to drive to the photographers house and sit on her porch if W’s newborn pictures don’t get posted soon.
  • There are a million things I should be doing right now.  But instead I am blogging while W is sleeping on my chest.  No way can I put him down!!!!
  • I am already thinking about Halloween costumes for the kids.
  • I want to make Jello shots for B and I just so I can use the new Margarita, Pina Colada and Daiquiri flavored Jello!!

So what are you saying so what to this week???

I’m thinking the Etsy people must buy their supplies in bulk, to lower their costs? And I haven’t had Jello shots in MANY years, but those do sound good!

I’m already thinking about Halloween costumes too! I want the kids costumes to coordinate.

I would venture to guess that the vast majority of etsy sellers make very little, if any, money. Crafts are expensive, just in supplies, before you’ve even figured out the value of your time…and most people are unwilling to pay the actual value. I think most etsy sellers do it just to feed their habit. They charge enough to cover expenses and not much more.
