So I mentioned earlier than B and I went wild at Lululemon this weekend. What I didn’t mention was that they didn’t have my size in the groove crops that I LOVE. And they haven’t had them online in the right size in ages. So what did I do? I bought them in too small of a size. In a size that I hope will fit perfect in a few months. I mean, what’s a girl to do? We drove all that way (okay it’s maybe 30 minutes) and all I really wanted (*) were groove crops. I had to buy the pants. No matter what size they were right?
I was thinking about it yesterday and it occurred to me that I am not the only idiot person who does stuff like this. I am guessing it’s fairly common to buy jeans, dresses, etc. in a size or two smaller than your normal size as an incentive to lose a few pounds. Am I right? I totally don’t make a habit of this or anything, but I know I’ve done it a few times in the past.
So I gotta know, do you / have you done this? Or do you think I’m nuts for buying pants that don’t fit? I mean they fit, but they don’t look good. At all. Unless it’s dark. Or you’re blind.
(*) I wanted the other stuff that I bought too, but I really wanted groove crops.
I haven’t bought anything that is too small (on purpose…sometimes I don’t try stuff on) in a long time, but I have kept things for YEARS that I might someday fit again. Then again they’ll probably be totally out of style by then…..so then I’ll have to keep them until they come back into style….. Not normal? 😉
