1. What is your favorite Fall activity?
Going to the Cider Mill of course. Nothing beats fresh cider and warm doughnuts on a chilly fall morning. I don’t know what it is about cider mill doughnuts, but they are way better than any doughnut anywhere else on earth.
2. Do you follow a football team? if so which one and why?
If you follow my blog and don’t know I love my Michigan State Spartans, we got a problem on our hands! MSU football is coming into their own and I am happily going along for the ride. For to many years we were at the bottom of the Big Ten. No more. WE ARE SPARTANS!
3. What is something fun about Fall in your area?
Gosh, there are so many fun fall things to do around here. The cider mill is always fun. Or a football game mixed in with some (a lot) of tailgating is always a good time. We’ve got the Detroit Lions, UofM and of course, Michigan State all within reasonable driving distance. Meaning you can see a lot of football in person! Also, Michigan has a beautiful fall. Seeing the leaves changing color almost before your eyes? Amazing.
4. Fav Fall outfit staples?
Let’s pretend for a minute I actually dressed up and went out. Tall boots, long tees, scarfs and skinny jeans would top my list. But really, we all know I live in my Lululemon gear, so I won’t even pretend I am all stylish. I will change it up a little and throw on an in-stride jacket for fall though. And maybe switch from crops to long pants. Maybe ;).
5. Thing you are looking forward to most about this coming Fall season?
Football!!! And maybe sneaking in a vacation to Disney? Oh, and getting our patio finished. I think by fall it will be totally done and I am imagining B and I sitting outside with some adult beverages late at night and bundled up in hoodies, using our patio heater that I bought on clearance ages ago knowing one day I’d need it. Sounds good right?
6. Favorite Fall holiday? Traditions?
Halloween of course! Before I had kids I never realized how much kid stuff went on at Halloween. We have so much fun during Halloween. We go to Crossroads Village, Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village, The Pumpkin Walk at Wiegands, the Halloween Party at our local recreation center, etc. I could name a million area events! We go trick or treating every year in my brother and SIL’s neighborhood. There is just so much fun stuff going on at Halloween!
