Do You Take An Annual Vacation – A Poll

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
In case you haven’t figured it out by now, I love polls. I love to know what other people think about things. And since it’s all gloomy and nasty out here today, I’ve been thinking a lot about vacations. And how I wish I was on one right now. I’m not stupid enough to think that going on vacation with two little ones is relaxing, but it’s for sure more fun than staying home.  Plus, I love taking L (and will love taking WB) to see new places.  Experience new things.

So today I am combining the two and asking you if go on an annual vacation.  I’m not just talking a weekend up-north.  Or a short trip to Chicago.  I’m talking about like, plan in advance, save for months and months and months, take a week off work, pack up your entire house, go on vacation.  We didn’t go anywhere big this year (that’d be WB’s fault), but we usually do.  In the past few years we’ve been in Cabo, St. Lucia, Disney World x 3 and on a Disney Cruise.  And we are going on a Disney Cruise next year, so that takes care of that.

Now I want to go, do you take an annual vacation?  Where is your favorite vacation spot? And where is your next trip? And when?  Tell me everything!  I think one year I’d like to rent a beach house.  In the Carolinas maybe?  Or maybe you’ll tell me about somewhere even more fabulous!

Spread the love

I do try to take a vacation every year. Even with the little ones. This year we did a Disney Cruise, a week in NY/Boston and then went to WDW for a week. My dad also rents a house at Myrtle Beach, SC so we went there too and we did a couple other weekendy things. I love to travel so I guess me getting a job as a travel agent this year was right on the money. 😉 Next year I’m going with a friend to Vegas for a week in March so that is my big trip. I will have to come up with something for my little guys to do too. Noah wants to go to Star Wars weekends at WDW so we may try and do that.

Vegas for a week? I cannot even imagine the trouble I would get in! Have a great time!

We go with another family every year. We arent “touristy” type people. We like to park our behinds on the beach with some adult beverages, let the kids go to town at the pool/in the ocean and relax for a week. We found a small beach town in FL that is mostly private owned. Its quiet (we saw about 15 people the whole week). There isnt anything around (nearest store/restaurant = 45 minutes away). Its HEAVEN. We do go on WDW every 3 years as well, but this is a seperate trip.

I love your blog, BTW. I signed up for Cravebox and should get the Thanksgiving one soon. I am so excited for suprises!!

My mom rents a beach house in North Carolina every year, usually late August so we join her (free beach house!). Other than that, we try to do an “outdoorsy” trip at a national park or the like. This year in March, we’re taking the family to Disney World for the first time (for my son), we’re so excited!!!

We take a week vacation somewhere every year. This year we got 3 week long vacations. 1-Went to visit family at their home in another area of the state, 2-Went for a week stay in GA mountains at a family members cabin, 3-Myrtle Beach (hubby didn’t get to go)! All 3 vacations were with family, who paid for most of the trips/lodging. I’m a SAHM, so we don’t have much extra $$

My favorite beach is Emerald Isle in North Carolina!

Hoping hubby gets a good enough job that we can finally go on vacation alone again next year!
