Influensters Beauty Bloggers VoxBox 2012

A few weeks ago I received the Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox. If you aren’t familiar with Influenster, you should be. Basically it’s an online community of well, people like you and me, who share experiences, reviews on products, etc. Depending on your Influenster “Status” you can get picked to receive products to review, like I got picked for this. You use the products and share your opinions, good or bad.

Now, let’s get started. Here is what the VoxBox contained:

~Bath & Body Works® Fall Mini Candle (Cider Lane):  Love this.  These mini candles are only $3.50 and really make your house smelly.  In a good way.  I think they’d make perfect stocking stuffers!  And when I was at the store using my coupon that came the Influenster box, I stumbled upon these little candle sleeves that fancy them up.  Sold!
~NYC New York Color IndividualEyes: I’m just meh on this.  Not bad, not amazing.  It’s not as long lasting as some of the other brands I’ve using and it doesn’t seem as “smooth”.  Maybe it’s just because I used the applicator in the package?  I probably should have used something else.  All said and done, I would probably buy this kit if I was looking for some fun colors to wear to a party (it’s $5 for the entire kit) or something.  It wouldn’t be my everyday product.
~Kiss® Ever PRO Lashes: These are CRAZY long.  I love me some long lashes, but these are a little much.  Super easy to apply though (well maybe not super easy, but I thought it would be worse) and they didn’t fall off (although I would never leave them on for the 24 hours it says you can), so that was all goo!
~Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream: Well, I don’t have curly hair (not even close – my hair barely can hold a curl), but I tried this to control frizz / fly-aways and it worked.  I might just go ahead and throw this in my purse to use in the case of emergencies!
~Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin: I have seen these at the store (*) and thought they looked cool, but never bought them. But they are very fun and actually work. And are a super good alternative to Twistbands. Kinda like a dressy, but not dressy option.
~Vitabath® Fragrance Mist: This was one of the bonus products in the box and I was lucky enough to get it!  It smells amazing and it’s like nothing I currently have / use, so I was excited to get it!  Love this!

So that’s it, my first Influenster Box!  I didn’t love everything, but I loved trying everything!  If you haven’t requested an invite for Influenster yet, what are you waiting for?

(*) You know, “the store”. Aka Target.

Disclosure: I received this box complimentary from Influenster. In exchange I was requested to give my opinions on the products in the box.  No compensation was received.

Spread the love
