November Barkbox

I don’t stalk my Barkbox tracking numbers like I do with PopSugar or Birchbox, so it’s always a surprise when it comes in the mail.  But Baxter and Buddy are always super excited and look forward to seeing what’s in the box.  In case you aren’t in the know like the furries are, BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs.  Packages start at $29/month, $22/month for 3-months or $17/month for 6-months.

However, I got my 6-month subscription through Groupon for $60, so I only paid $10/month.  They have Groupon deals fairly often, so if your dogs don’t mind waiting, I’d totally wait till it comes up again (I swear one just ended yesterday).

Now let’s get started.  Here’s what was in this month’s box:

The information card

Bionic Bone ($9.99): This bone is “unlike any you’ve seen before”. It’s made for super chewers and it’s special shape is supposed to keep them interested for ages because it’s supposed to make them think they are chewing through the bone. Baxter and Buddy are not what you’d call aggressive chewers, but I imagine they will fight over this like crazy when I stuff a treat or some peanut butter in it ;).

Bionic Bone

Fruitables Treats ($5.99): I gotta be honest. These pumpkin and blueberry flavored sound mighty tasty. I mean, I’m not about to try them, but they do sound good. They are made from 100% natural organic ingredients, which is an added bonus.

Fruitables Treats

Acadia Antlers ($10): Okay, when I read that these were antlers, well I just thought that was the name of the product. Nope, they are made from actual moose antlers. Per their website, they are “a great alternative to rawhide and other messy dog treats — they are non-splintering and an all natural source of calcium and minerals with trace amounts of iron, zinc, and sodium.” And don’t worry, the antlers they are made from are shed naturally. They also say on their website that they are BUCK-ing great, which cracked me up. Let the fight between the furries begin for this.

Acadia Antlers

Mr. Barksmiths Smoothie ($1): Okay, Baxter and Buddy are going to love this so much that I am going to get more of these so they can eat it at the same time. I don’t even want to hear the fight they’d have about this! They are a low fat, low calorie, guilt free treat (like Baxter and Buddy care about that) and are made with human grade ingredients.

Mr. Barksmiths Cool Treats Smoothie

Barkworthies Bully Stick ($6.39): This wasn’t on my card so I’m not sure what’s up with it. But I can tell you Buddy really enjoyed it. We got a Barkworthies product back in our September box, so you can read more about it there if you want.

Holiday Offers:
~BarkBox App (I’m going to download it ASAP): Free shipping on any app purchases through November 30th.
~Mr. Chewy: $10 gift card for any items on the site.
~Rover: Find the perfect dog sitter and get $10 off when you book.
~DogTV (really a channel for dogs): One month free subscription. It’s TV your dog will love.

Holiday Offers

Once again, I loved this box! All totaled, I came up with a value of $33.37 (not including the Holiday Offers) for the contents.  Not a bad deal at all considering I only paid $10! If your dogs can’t wait for a Groupon deal or you want to give a fun holiday gift to some special dogs this year, click you can order thru my BarkBox link, and enter code “RAMBLING10” to save $10 on your first box.

If you click the clicky BarkBox, you will be directed to the BarkBox site. And if you buy something I will get credit and Buddy and Baxter will love you forever and might even come

Spread the love

I love your review! I can’t wait to get my BarkBox this month, but I live in Canada, so it’ll probably take another few days. I noticed you got a bully stick in your box. I saw some other reviews and they didn’t come with it. Hmm, I wonder why…. I know that the other box reviews I saw were for the larger dogs…

We got the exact same thing but with a bigger bone and no bully stick.
