I’ve mentioned it about a million times, but I love me some ebates. I was talking to some friends about it and one of them mentioned how much she loved Mr. Rebates. WHAT? A cash back site I didn’t know about? I am somewhat ashamed! I know about ebates. I know about ShopAtHome. But I’d never heard of Mr. Rebates until yesterday. I signed up (of course) and then did some browsing through the cash back offers on all the different sites to see how they stack up. Let’s compare shall we:
Nordstrom:
ebates: 5% cash back
ShopAtHome: 5% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 5% cash back
The winner: It’s a draw. Hmm, that was pretty boring. All three sites had the same cash back amount. So I kept looking. And keep in mind that I looked only for stores that I have shopped at in the last few months.
Bath & Body Works:
ebates: 2% cash back
ShopAtHome: 4% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 3% cash back
The winner: ShopAtHome. Sure it’s only 2% different than ebates, but I’m cheap like that and want to get the most cash back possible.
Target:
ebates: 2% cash back
ShopAtHome: 4% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 3% cash back
The winner: ShopAtHome.
GAP:
ebates: 10% cash back
ShopAtHome: 6% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 5% cash back
The winner: ebates.
Neiman Marcus:
ebates: 4% cash back
ShopAtHome: no cash back
Mr. Rebates: no cash back
The winner: ebates.
Sephora:
ebates: 8% cash back
ShopAtHome: 9% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 6% cash back
The winner: ShopAtHome.
And finally….
QVC (as if you don’t shop there):
ebates: 2.5% cash back
ShopAtHome: 5% cash back
Mr. Rebates: 6% cash back
The winner: Mr. Rebates.
As you can see, there is no single best cash back site. I don’t play favorites and will use whatever site gets me the most cash back. Period. Keep in mind that cash back amounts can change daily, so you’ll want to check each site before making any purchase! With all the holiday shopping going on, who doesn’t want to save here and there. If you haven’t signed up for any (or all) of these sites yet, what are you waiting for? It’s super easy and takes like one minute. They don’t ask for any crazy information like your social security number or anything. Just your name and e-mail. Oh, and an address so they can send you the check.

Thanks for the heads up about Mr. Rebates and Shop at Home! I didn’t know about those two, only ebates, which I haven’t used in forever because I forgot about it, lol. I’ve got a bit of online shopping to do next week so this will work out great! I will sign up for the other two via your links! Do you get any referral perks?
I JUST signed up for ebates a couple weeks ago (??), and I’ve never heard of Mr. Rebates or Shop at Home. I do My Points too, it’s similar except you accumulate points & then trade them in for gift cards or Paypal money, and you can do it as soon as you have enough points.
There’s also shop.com and swagbucks shop for other options… I don’t think Shop.com has as good cash back as the three sites you mentioned, but if you get people to register through you, there is a system where you can get money from their purchases too… SB is good if you’re into that program. ^^;;
I use swagbucks (but never shop thru there), but I didn’t know about Shop.com? Are you on there? I will sign up under you!
I shopped through SB for the body shop once and it took them a month and half to get my SB and that was only after I complained twice! lol.
Yep, I’m on shop.com! They don’t have a direct invite link, so don’t worry about it. It’s not worth the hassle for me… But it’s especially good if you’re in a family! Like, I made a $1000 purchase on adorama.com so instead of just getting the cashback for myself through ebates, my stepmom was able to get 0.5% cashback from my purchase as well ^_^ Definitely something to consider!
