A Few Questions (aka HELP)!

~I think I am going to sell all of WB’s old clothes, baby stuff, etc. I mean, maybe we’ll have another one, but maybe not? And the clutter? I cannot stand it. I am drowning in clothes. So where do I sell it all? Ebay? Craigslist? Mom2Mom Sale? And how in the world do I price things? I am thinking I need to go to a Mom2Mom sale just to scout things out. Any tips? Advice? And yes, I know buy selling all these things I will likely end up with another boy. And that’s cool because three boys would be so fun!

~If you don’t work, what time do you go to bed? What time do you get up? This is purely because I am curious, no other reason. I like to stay up late and get up late. L’s sort down with this, sorta not. He’s happy to come in my bed and play iPad or watch cartoons while I get a little more sleep. WB is totally down with this and loves to sleep in. I get up at 4 or 5 and feed WB and then go back to bed.  Let’s just say that if I get up in time to watch Live with Kelly & Michael, it’s a special event (like today).

~What are you asking for this year for Christmas?  So far all I have come up with is Starbucks & Target giftcards (BORING) and replacement brush heads for my Clarisonic.  Also BORING.  It’s not like the casino offers gift cards, so I am clueless on what to put on my wishlist?  B is also kinda clueless.  OMG, wait, no, I am putting a sewing machine on my list.  Done.  But what about B?  What should he ask for?  So far, he’s got a wrench on his list.  BORING.

~I am totally done Christmas shopping for my kids and almost done Christmas shopping for the niece (I have one) and nephews (I have four) (can you tell we have a thing for boys?).   I only need one more thing for L.  A watch.  I just cannot find a good kids watch.  I am looking for a watch, like this, but for kids.  Easier said than done clearly.  Any ideas?

~What do you want to see more of on here? I mean giveaways of course, but more crafts? reviews? pictures of my adorable kids? celebrity gossip (I know my brother loves this)? Tell me! The kids and I did a craft today (see the Instagram pics on the sidebar), but there was no way pictures could be taken. WB ended up covered in paint and I was too busy trying to make sure he didn’t get any in his mouth so I couldn’t take pictures!

~And finally, what sippy cup do you recommend? WB can drink out of a sippy cup, but he’s not overly fond of trying to put it in his mouth himself and drink. I really can’t even remember what sippy cup with handles L used? We have a Born Free one and some other one, but WB’s not into them. You know what he’s into? Drinking out of a cup that I put to his mouth. But clearly he cannot be trusted with a real cup all the time, so I need some advice!

Thanks everyone! And in case you missed it, I added a December PopSugar Must Have Box to my giveaway! So one person will receive the Luxury box and someone else will get the regular edition December box! Sound good? Go enter!

I’ll tell you what you do. Text me pictures and sell ME some of WB’s adorable clothing! I sell stuff I don’t want on a yard sale page on FB. There’s usually one for the town you live in*. Prices are low, though. Like yard sale price low. I will say, it’s a lot easier than dealing with eBay. Plus, eBay fees are outrageous. Like 9% these days! Dumb.
*search your city name and then ‘yard sale.’

Too bad WB and O are the same size!! Now, if you lived next door like you should, we could share like that!

I sold the high end name brand stuff on Ebay and donated the rest or passed it on to grateful friends or friends of friends.
I dont work outside of the home and like to be asleep by 10. I get up anywhere between 530-7.
I dont want or need anything for Christmas. I wouldnt mind a pandora bead and maybe a reflective jacket for nighttime running.
I love crafts and what about some healthy yummy recipes?
Have a wonderful Holiday Season, enjoy every second with those little ones!

Facebook has a whole bunch of selling pages for baby clothes. My cousins are always selling clothes on a Gymboree selling page. Otherwise you could maybe take them to a consignment store like Once Upon a Child. You may not get much for the stuff but its something.

I am usually in bed by 9:30-10pm and up at 6:30am. If I could sleep in I would but thats never happening.

I would like to see more crafts on your blog. I need ideas for the boys to do.

I’ve sold baby clothes for friends on Craig’s list, but that was after I donated to a battered women’s shelter. I go to bed between 9-10 and thats only because the fiance has to be up so early! I still have yet to get my Christmas shopping done for my fiance…that will be done tomorrow when I get paid though! Everyone else in my family was done months ago, lol. I totally love the randomness of your blog, I think you should keep it just the way it is! As for sippy cups, Munchkin and Dr. Brown’s makes good sippy cups, I prefer Dr. Brown’s as they are equipped with handles! OXO makes a really cute sippy cup set too, just don’t know how “spillproof” they are!

I head to bed about 11 and get up at 7. Noah has to be at preschool by 9 so I have to get ready.

I’ve been selling my clothes and stuff at the consignment sale at my moms church. Prices are lower then some of the other sales I’ve been to but I get a higher percentage back so I figure its about a wash and the money they make is used for a good cause and is tax deductable. 🙂 I’m in the same place as you with two boys I’ve sold some things but thinking next year we need to do a big purge and maybe keep just one tote for each size 😉 For those baby sizes I have a ton of totes after the two boys.

Nothing exciting on my list. I asked for a couple movies, black Uggs, some scrapbooking stuff, a year sub for POPSugar 😉 and then I had a few around the house things I want done. My hubby hates to call in a handy man so if I want shelving, cabinets etc built its all up to him. I want to turn my downstairs bathroom into the library. We have an L shaped bathroom and the non-potty part of the L would be great for shelves and books and right now is a pretty wasted space. Hubby does not see my sense of humor but I need bookshelves and is the bathroom where most people do alot of their reading.

I sell all of my kids clothes at Once Upon A Child. They are in Michigan, not sure if they are up by you. I keep taking the same few totes all year long. What they don’t take today, they might take tomorrow. Every summer I have a garage sale and I put them in the sale. Then after the sale I put them back in their totes and keep taking them every so often to Once Upon A Child. Eventually I’ll donate what I KNOW they aren’t going to take back or I’ll just donate all of it because I’m sick of it, but not before trying to score money of course 🙂 I don’t do Craigslist or Ebay because I have found that by the time you ship it, pay Ebay, etc. the return is about the same as I’d get from OUAC or a garage sale anyway. Maybe a little less, but time is money!

Also, check Walmart for that watch. I was there getting a watch for my oldest (she wanted something similar) and at our Walmart they had one just like that in pink. I don’t remember seeing one in black, but I wasn’t looking for black, so I may have overlooked it. The upside is the one I got was less than $20 – score!

Sleep: Baby FINALLY started sttn (or close) so I’m back to my night-owl habits. Can’t sleep before midnight no matter what I try. Then sleep until C is up for the day, either between 7-8 or if he made up for waking at 5am, will sleep until about 9 which feels like heaven!

Christmas ideas: salon/spa gift certificates? Or maybe full sizes of all those great products you have tried? Gift cards to Joann’s for future sewing projects. I always ask for kitchen stuff or new fry pans.

Sippy Cup: I tried out 5 fancy ones before discovering the Advent ones with the attached lids. Saw them at CVS recently. There’s not a bunch of little pieces to put back together and the handles line up correctly every time, easy to clean. C is figuring out how to drink from it by himself with about 50% success rate when it’s at least a third full. (Removed the attached lid so he can learn). http://www.usa.philips.com/c/avent-baby-toddler-feeding/toddler-cups-200ml-6m-plus-soft-spout-scf750_22/prd/en/
I still try the others I have once in a while and he hates them. Funny, C also prefers to drink directly out of an adult glass!

I sold some of the better conditioned clothes on eBay, I just made sure It would sell for enough to offset the fees. The other stuff I did at a mom2mom like sale, but I know some of the sells can be picky about what condition they accept. Also, a lot of people are doing blog sales??
I like to stay up late (it is when I am most productive), I would like to sleep in, but since I have to drop my little one off at Pre-K I am up by 7 (which actually is late for me considering how early I used to have to get up to go to the office).
Ahhh, sippy cups. I really did not enjoy that phase very much with all of the leaking. I must have been at BabiesRUs every week or so trying a new one. We ended up using mostly the Playtex and Avent ones. I had to find ones that did not have handles on them, or ones where they could be removed, because there was something about the handles that my daughter just did not like. Needless to say, I moved her on to cups with straws fairly early.

I love the crafts that you post!

I have had mixed results selling stuff at resale shops, mom2mom sales and garage sales. I do not have the patience for eBay. The thing is, I’ve given up. I’m thrilled if I find out someone I know needs something I have, it’s THEIRS! But otherwise, it has to go, now. I don’t have the space.

My self-imposed bedtime is 1 a.m. I don’t always (or even usually) make it in time, and rarely do I get there earlier. I have to get up with the kids for school at 7. I am tired all the time. But I can’t get anything done when my kids are awake!

I love the variety of your posts. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I haven’t parted with the kids clothes yet, because I know we are having more but I do throw out any ones that have gotten stained-whether they were cute or not- I just tell myself I will buy new ones.

And I have always wondered what time moms go to bed and wake up at-great question. I go to bed around 10:30 and my kids sleep until 9-no lie, later if I let them. They go to bed around 8:30/9. Eeek I am lucky. I know some people who are up SOO much earlier than me and they have the kids the same age.
