I decided to link-up with Neely over at A Complete Waste of Makeup for this week’s Sunday Social.

1. Favorite New Years eve you’ve had before?
Hmm, I have had lots of fun NYE’s, but I think I am going to go with my first NYE with B! We went to Traverse City and spent a few nights up there, got all dressed up for an NYE party, etc.

NYE 2005 / 2006. We look so young!

2. Are you doing anything for NYE this year and if so what?

Not a thing! I posted a poll about this yesterday and nothings changed. We are still happily staying in! I wonder when the last time I have even been out past midnight was? It’s been awhile I will tell you that.  NYE is now spent on the couch drinking champagne with B.  And we got L some sparkling cider, but he won’t be staying up till midnight!

NYE 2008 / 2009. How NYE is now spent ;).

3. Name a book we should all read come January?
Oh gosh, seeing as how I haven’t even finished the Steve Jobs book I got last Christmas or Fifty Shades of Grey or any other book anyone else in America has read, I’m not in a position to recommend a book to anyone!

4. What are your new years resolutions?
I *try* not to make new years resolutions because well, I suck at keeping them.  But I s know I am going to learn to sew this year and use the treadmill more!  I’m going to set any crazy goals like “I’m going to run a marathon!!” or “Not drink Diet Pepsi!!” or “Sew all the kids clothes!!” or anything like that, because let’s be honest, that’s not going to happen.  I am going to do a post on New Year’s Day, but I need a few days to think of some more specific goals and resolutions!

I really want to learn to sew as well. Growing up my mom sewed all my Halloween costumes each year, and while I don’t have kids yet, when I do, I’d love to be able to do the same for them.
