I’m not sure if the cold weather has frozen my brain, but I don’t have a blog post scheduled for this morning. Oops! Oh well, there’s always something to talk about.
~Okay, so I posted about what annoys me about the internet the other day, but I didn’t mention that I cannot STAND the asking for likes on Facebook. “If we get a million likes, our dad said we can have a puppy.” Super kiddos. Tell your Dad just to buy you the puppy and stop cluttering up my precious FB feed. There are important things on there. Such as all those pictures I need to like to show that I support the troops or love my kids or want the world to not end. Because that totally works. If I don’t like it, it won’t happen!
~I got this genius idea this week to “fix” the haircut I gave Buddy last week. So I scissor cut him. OMG he looks awful. I won’t even post a picture of him because I don’t want to embarrass him. It’s fair to say I did NOT miss my calling as a dog groomer. However, I still plan to cut Baxter’s hair this weekend. Practice makes perfect right?
~I almost made a special trip to the store this week to get an HD antenna so we can get the local channels on our tv. I want to watch the Manti Te’o interview on the Katie Couric show. I thought I could just easily set it up and be done with it. Ha! Little did I know that the antenna needs to go on the roof. As if. I think I will just wait for the weekend until B can do it.
~My PopSugar box, Barkbox and Goodies Co. boxes are all coming today! I am looking forward to their arrival and plan to stalk my mailman until she/he (*) gets here. I am also very much looking forward to having some hot chocolate on a stick tonight while I watch PLL. And OMG, thank you guys for your recommendations. It appears that I also need to check out Scandal and Revenge. Done!
~I know I promised to have my giveaway (another “Favorite Things” one) up this week, but I am still not sure what I am giving away. LOL. I have a few ideas, but there are so many things I love. I’ll work on it tonight during PLL and get it up soon. I promise. Oh, and I am also having so much fun figuring out what to send my “Pay It Forward” contest winners.
~AT WB’s 9 month check up this week, his doctor (who I seriously adore) said that WB can switch back to regular formula! We are hoping that he has grown out of his milk protein allergy. I totally hope so. Also, in the past week or so, WB has decided that he’s done with baby food too. It’s real food or nothing for that kid. So he had mac & cheese the other night for dinner. Loved it. It’s funny to watch this tiny little guy eat all this big kid food. He also had his first taste of juice this week (via a sample from Costco – he looked thirsty) and he went crazy for it. Oh was he pissed when that little cup was gone.
~L is getting over his Chuck E. Cheese cold nicely. My mom doesn’t think it’s CEC related, but I do. LOL. Now that he feels better, he has decided he will be going back there. Can’t wait.
My PopSugar box takes forever to get here. It shipped on the 16th and my FedEx tracking says it will be here on the 29th. CRAZY! I’m excited to see your review though. You always make me think twice about the items. LOL. Is it weird that I feel like we’re friends? hahahah. Love this blog! ….. I have no life… :-/
I totally agree with you about the facebook likes. I?ve been a sucker for it in the past, but I?m not liking them anymore. Also, after watching enough 20/20s and datelines I know that all of that can?t be true.

I love love love Scandal, just got into it at the beginning of the second season when they were doing the season 1 recap… ugh, just what I need, another show to get into. I’m reading the PLL book series presently, man they suck you in, plus they are easy reads!!! I got my PopSugar box yesterday I very much like what I got and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I was supposed to get my BarkBox on Tuesday but the PO lost it… Currently it is taking a trip around the greater Denver area and quite frankly I’m getting annoyed… I’m still holding out hope for delivery today along with Wantable…. but we will see…. this smartpost stuff is not so smart and really its just plain annoying…
Oh Scandal is a must see… I love that one!
I was let down my the Pop Sugar Box this month. It was my first and I guess I was hoping they would pull off another box as awesome as the September one looked. But with that being said, those hot chocolates on a stick are awesome! Plus, you can add another item from the box on top. And definitely check out Revenge and Scandal. I love both of those shows. I also recently watched the first two episodes of The Carrie Diaries, and if you were ever a fan of Sex and the City, I think it’s worth checking out.
Revenge can get pretty intense with all the twists and turns! I absolutely love it!! You will get addicted!
