Yep, you guessed it. A bunch of nothing. Is it the weekend yet??

~OMG, first things first, I came across this recap of Teen Mom the other night on HuffPost and I am still cracking up about it. This writer is a complete genius. Dare I say that I find the review even more entertaining than the actual show (which I am not forced to watch online). If you find Teen Mom 2 and Jenelle and Leah and Chelsea and Kailyn even the least bit entertaining, go check this recap out. I guarantee you will laugh!!

~Moving in a completely different direction, B reported to me on Monday that his vision was really blurry in one of his eyes and asked me to make him an eye appointment. They squeezed him in on Monday and long story short, it turns out he did not have a hole in his eye like they suspected. But they said it was “something” and referred him to a retina specialist (I am certain there is a fancy name for this doctor, but I don’t know it). I called (I do all B’s dirty work) and made (*) him an appointment.  Turns out he has toxoplasmosis (feel free to GTS), which is likely the result of something he was exposed to 10-15 years ago.  Well, that narrows it right down.  But anyways, he’s got a pile of medications and should be just fine.

~Since I need another subscription box like I need a hole in the head, I signed up for Julep a few nights ago. In my defense, if you use code: JULEPVIP, you’ll get your first box for $.01 (or $4 after shipping). At worst I’ve spent $4 on a few nail polishes. I can assure you that no matter what, it will be worth it though.  Can you even buy Wet N Wild for that anymore?  I doubt it. I’ve heard great things about Julep (and I LOVE their polish bottles) and you can skip a month anytime.  I cannot wait to get my first box!

~I have finally solved the mystery of crabby / sorta sick L. He has an ear infection.  And a raging one at that.  He used to get them all the time but hasn’t gotten one in ages. I have informed him that telling me that his ear hurts when I ask what’s wrong 8 million times is one way to help feel better more quickly. He sort of agreed and then moved on to other important things, like watching Ghostbusters cartoons (circa 1986) that we found on HuluPlus.  You know what I wish Hulu had?  Mr. Dressup.  Now that was a good show.

~It seems a few of you are interested in the Spice Box from SpicySubscriptions I posted about the other day.  Well stay tuned because I got a Luvmybox in the mail this week too and I’ll have that review up soon as well!  Also I have updated my Monthly Subscription Box List with some new boxes I have found and tried to make it a little easier to read.  I’d love to hear your ideas to make it better!  Also, while we are on the subject on subscription boxes, I am pretty sure that every single one of you has signed up for Graze box.  The Graze school of farming(**) in rural Uganda is going to be quite pleased with you all ;).  And if you haven’t signed up and want to, click here to get your first box free.

~I am still loving reading everyone’s answers in the comments of my Favorite Things giveaway.  Seriously, there are so many new products people posted about in there that I have to check out!  Also, thank you to everyone who answered my All About You poll.  I love that lots of different age groups and that people with and without kids enjoy (or at least tolerate) it here!  I do need to find a few more male readers though ;).  But to the three of you who are readers, thank you!  Also, does anyone know of any funny / cool male bloggers?  Single or married or whatever?  I wouldn’t mind mixing up my google reader with my new stuff!

~If you still haven’t entered my Favorite Things giveaway, what are you waiting for? I continue to have no idea what is going on around here that is bringing me so many visitors (this was BY FAR the biggest month ever on here), but these giveaways are my way of saying thank you!  In fact, I am already plotting my February one ;).  Anything special you think I should include?  Maybe a food box to mix things up?

(*) By made I mean I told them B’s name and what was up and they told me when to come in. No what day / time is good for you.  Nope. You’ll be here at 1:30. Click.
(**) For every person that signs up under my link, I get $1 off my next box or $1 will be donated to the school of farming which teaches locals how to grow fruit trees in deprived rural Uganda.
