Midweek Ramblings + A Poll

~It’s suppose to snow here tonight and I am SO excited. We have about an inch or two of snow on the ground here and L begs to go outside and play every day because he loves the snow so much. If we got like, 6 or 7 inches of snow, OMG, he would just go nuts. So please, weatherman, please be right.

Can you see my house?

~I am sure everyone and their brother is talking about it this week, but Ebates is in the process of sending out the 4th quarter 2012 BIG FAT CHECKS. I am so excited about it and I am guessing if you are getting one, you are excited too!  I’m not going to be all, oh I earned all by money just by shopping, because that’s NOT true.  I earned it because every time one of you guys signs up and spends $25, I get $5.  All those $5 sign-up bonuses add up and let me do fun giveaways and stuff!  So if you haven’t signed up yet, I’d love if you used my link!

~It appears that Baxter is popular little dog on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there, I thought I’d post his cuteness again. Since I know someone will ask, he’s a shorkie (1/2 yorkie, 1/2 shih-tzu). I need to post about the furries more. I don’t want them to feel left out.

~I’ve been working on being a better commenter and believe I have comments on almost ever blog I have read this week. Phew. No wonder I get no sleep. I do love checking out all the different blog layouts, pictures, etc. It’s much different than my standard google reader review. If I have NOT commented on your blog this week, please please please leave me a comment with your blog in it so I can add you to my google reader okay?

~I received my second Graze box yesterday, but I decided I’m not doing weekly Graze reviews. That’s a little much. I’m going to do monthly ones for sure and show pictures of my other ones here and there. I know A LOT of you have signed up for Graze and probably are curious what’s in it. Last time I picked the “lightbox“, so this time I mixed it up and got the “nibblebox”. It included: apple and cinnamon flapjack, bonnie wee oatbakes, florentine and garden of england. I am most excited for the oatbakes! If you got a Graze box this week, what’d you get? And if you haven’t signed up yet, you can use my link to get your first box free.  Oh and I should mention it’s $5/week.

~I got my Tupperware Modular Mates yesterday and I could not wait to start organizing our pantry.  I already had one set, but it wasn’t enough.  It’s still a work in progress, but I thought I’d share a sneak peek!  I am considering labeling all the containers with my label maker so there is NO need to ever dig or open a container if it’s not necessary.  Some people may think it’s overkill, but I want to make life easier.

The start!

~At first I was upset to hear that the postal service was going to stop deliver mail on Saturdays (beginning in August).  And then I read into it and realized only actual letters wouldn’t be delivered, packages (which we all know I am obsessed with) will still be delivered. So with that, I have to ask, do you even care that the USPS won’t be delivering (or picking up I would assume?) letters on Saturdays?  I am unclear how not letters, but delivering packages is going to save them from all their issues, but what do I know?
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Disclosure: I believe I already disclosed it with ebates, but there are other referral links in here too. Like Graze.

We’re getting 16-24 inches here in Boston. They’re calling it a blizzard! My 3yr old daughter is going to go nuts too! Snow is so much fun, especially when we have nowhere to be!

Your pantry looks awesome!! I noticed you have wire shelves. I saw something on Pinterest that was cheap and easy to do – take peel and stick vinyl tiles and lay them across the wire shelves to help with any unevenness that occur sometimes with wire shelves! I have wooden shelves in my pantry, but have had wire shelves before. You may not have any problems with yours, but I thought it was a neat idea to pass on anyway!!

You should see my spices cabinet. I don’t have Tupperware but similar looking jars and bottles all labelled and arranged for easy access.
Now all there is to do is cook, which I am sure I will get paid not to do.
I have Rubbermaid for my pantry – I wish I had seen your Tupperware store earlier.

I can see why he’s so popular- that is a CUTE doggie!

I LOVE Ebates! Your pantry is sooooo organized! I love it! A girl after my own heart 😉

    Happy Thursday!

I’m glad the USPS is stopping on Saturdays, I have several family members that work for USPS and it is impossible to plan family get togethers on Saturdays!

I’d love for you to check out my blog – it’s simple and personal. craftyweeks.blogspot.com

O-M-G your dog is absolutely adorable! I am in love with your organization skills – once we move into a bigger house and I actually have storage I will be a crazy organization lady!

I signed up for Graze too! I picked the Lightbox and I’ve only gotten one so far: tutti frutti, poppy and lemon cake, very nori-ish and banoffee pie. I loved all of them. I’m waiting on my second one which should have: wee bonnie oatcakes, hot cross yum, pear tatin and toffee apple.

I know there was some confusion on MUT about what the ingredients were (toffee vs. fudge vs. chocolate), but I have to say that I like the British twist to the food. It is different than most stuff we have here.

I saw that you put your bread in a Tupperware container. Doesn’t it get moldy faster? Is that a special container for Bread? I have been buying bulk beans lately and I have no where to store them so this looks like a FANTASTIC idea. I just need to decide what would be good for BuLk Foods (Beans, Trail Mixes, etc) I am sure my Dear H would love me spending more money. Wait till he sees the 6 bottles of wine being delivered from a monthly subscription that I got a deal on and will be canceling asap.

I so love the Graze that by far is my FAVORITE. I am getting the Light and took out all the ones that are not Vegan. Since I have been attempting to participate in Clean, Vegetarian and Vegan eating (CVV) as I like to call it.

Good Luck with the Snow…I don’t miss it since moving from Chicago burb to the South. I am in a tee shirt and flip flops today.

Thanks for having such a FUN Blog to read every day.

I’m sad for any postal workers who may lose their job but other than that, I don’t care! That means I won’t get any bills all weekend! Woo hoo!

Love your pantry! That looks great! I had a tupperware party a couple years ago (with a DRAG QUEEN – it was awesome) and I am so impressed with how well all of my items have held up. I’m obsessed with the fruit and veggie saving containers. I swear my produce lasts 3x as long when I put it in there!

I didn’t know about this snow. Hopefully it doesn’t get too far into Ohio. This winter has been SO cold! I’d love for you to stop by and check out my randomness and recipes!
