Edited to Add: Wittlebee is no longer in business.

March Wittlebee Box

My March Wittlebee box arrived today (early I might add since I wasn’t expecting it until Monday) and I couldn’t wait to see what Wittlebee has selected for me.  If you recall, Wittlebee now allows you to select 3 of the 6 pieces in your box from their “Showroom”, while they select the other 3.

The Box

Wittlebee’s boxes are super cute, however, I should mention that they have changed their shipping from USPS to FedEx Smart Post (aka SO SLOW), but what can you do?  USPS rates went up, which I am assuming factored into the change.

First Look

I was pretty pleased with my first look since I don’t like anything too crazy or wild or with giant trucks on it.  I’m cool with the wildest pjs on the planet, but I like the day to day clothes to be, well, more boring.  Plus, L likes to dress like B (and WB probably will too), and oddly, B doesn’t have a lot of Angry Birds shirts ;).  Solids are much easier to match.

Allright, enough of all that.  Here’s what we got in our March Wittlebee box:

~cottonseed Hoodie – Black (My Pick) (~$20):  While I was browsing the showroom, I didn’t see three things I loved for WB.  So I played around and realized I could get ANYTHING at all in the showroom that I wanted.  Boy or Girl.  Any size.  So I went off in search of stuff for L.  And found the cutest thermal hoodie(s).  This is so my L’s style, so I was super excited to see it!

Cottonseed Hoodie – Black

~cottonseed Hoodie – Blue (My Pick) (~$20): What can I say, I liked the style (A LOT) and they had it in a different color, so I went for it.  L will be able to use this now, on chilly nights this summer and hopefully in the fall.  Love it.  I’d buy more colors if I could.  I’d buy all dem colors.

Cottonseed Hoodie – Blue

~cottonseed Long-Sleeved Long Sleeved Lap Tee (My Pick) ($16): I am cracking up.  This was one of MY picks and when I opened the box, I was all, wow, this looks familiar.  Umm, yeah, because I got it LAST month.  Had it been one of Wittlebee’s picks I would have been annoyed to get it two months in a row, but it was mine so all I can do is laugh!

Cottonseed Long Sleeved T-Shirt – Light Blue

~Threadless Tiger / Monkey Tee (Wittlebee Pick) ($12.99): We got a threadless shirt last month too (which I thought was cuter, but whatever) and I am still stumped by the material of this t-shirt.  It’s SO thin.  But WB looks good in everything, so we’ll figure it out. It’s not my favorite of the treadless shirts, but I can handle it.

Threadless Tiger / Monkey Tee

~Kate Quinn Organics Hoodie & Pants (Wittlebee Pick) (~$35): Oh man, this is adorable.  I can’t find it online anywhere, but I estimated it at around $35.  It’s probably worth more, but I asked B what he’d pay and he said $35, so I went with it.  WB is going to look so flippin cute in this little sailboat hoodie.  And the pieces can be easily worn together or separated.  He’s going to find a reason to wear this next week for sure!

Kate Quinn Organics Hoodie & Pants

All totaled, I came up with a value of $103.99 for my March Wittlebee box.  A few of the items were estimates since I couldn’t find the exact pieces online.  I used the max I would actually pay for that item in the store as my estimate.  I was going to pause my subscription, but now I am not so sure.  I really like that you can now select 3 of the 6 pieces in your box and that you can pick from any of the other sizes.  I mean if there is nothing in WB’s or L’s size that I LOVE, I don’t mind picking a 2T or 3T piece that I love to save for later you know?
