Ramblings of a Suburban Mom

Today I’m smiling because:

~Lyn and I (really just Lyn) killed it again this month with Tupperware. I’m calling us “The Tuppettes”. Cute right?  You should become a Tuppette.  E-mail me!

~I got another surprise package of foreign candy in my mail yesterday from my friend Stacey! Can I just tell you how great it is to have friends overseas? I am so lucky!

~We are decorating Easter eggs today. L’s excited and, well, WB is going to make a mess. And it’s going to be so fun. And then of course, tomorrow is Easter which brings even more fun! I love me a good Easter egg hunt! And yes, at my parents, everyone hunts. No one is too old for egg hunting ;).

~We all (even WB) played outside in the backyard yesterday. It felt amazing to be outside for more than 10 minutes when it wasn’t freezing cold out. And it was even sunny. Not warm enough to eat on the patio, but it was for sure to get a little fresh air.

An action shot

~I totally screwed up and didn’t renew B’s Mantry. I thought I was subbed through March. Turns out I wasn’t. Ooops! Thankfully Mantry came to my rescue and let me order the March box (late). Phew! LOVE great customer service!

~I finally cleaned all the photos off my iPhone.  It used to yell at me all the time because it was too full.  So I’d delete a few pictures so I could take more.  Now I have a totally fresh start. It feels good.

~I am so lucky to have B.  Not just because he’s hot, but because he gets me.  I’ve been moving my new pack of colored glittery pens from room to room with me in hopes I will need to write something and B hasn’t even said a word.  He gets that there is no point in asking and I love that!

So many colors. So little time.

What’s got you smiling today?

Spread the love

Ahh your last one is sweet. I’m feeling the same way about my husband this morning. Getting to wake up next to him AND getting to drink coffee that he brewed (instead of my always weak brew) is making me smile today.

Ok I finally have to comment about it…your husband is hot!! You go girl! 😉 I quickly have to click on post comment before my equally hot husband reads this lol

Decent weather, an Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner tomorrow, and that picture of your baby all have me smiling!

YAY for easter egg hunts! Im so bummed that its supposed to rain all day here tomorrow. L’s first real turn at a hunt while he’s walking … and we’ll be subjected to doing it on the living room floor. Just as well — he might not have a whole lot of interest until he finds out I put m&ms in his eggs!!

What’s making me smile today is the fact that my team (Syracuse) made it to the final four!

Also, I contacted fab fit fun and they offered me my next box for free. Things like this never happen to me so I was pleasantly surprised. Here’s to hoping that it’s better than the box previously received!

HAHA I am the same way with my iPhone pics. I was trying to video something today and ran out of memory space, so I spent some time clearing it and then I ran out of daylight… filming will have to resume tomorrow!

And my guy gets me too! I make him put up with a whole lot of weirdness. Bringing around sets of pens just so I can try to write with them? Totally done it too. But hey it all makes for some funny stories/anecdotes later, right?

I’m glad I’m not the only one with the iphone issue. Though I think I need a new one. First it deleted all of my contacts last weekend, and yesterday all of the Easter hunt pictures I took disappeared 🙁 Hoping my dad got some good pics, or I’m REALLY going to be sad.

But I’m happy that it’s almost time for me to go home. I’m hoping that if I nap from 8am-noon, I won’t be in a horrible mood the rest of the day. And Tom and the kids better damn well let me nap for 4 hours or I will FOR SURE be in a horrible mood the rest of the day 😉
