I am, once again, linking up with Ashley and Neely for today’s Sunday Social.

1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch?
Oh gosh, I don’t think there are any? I don’t really watch scary movies, but I am also not terrified to watch them. They just aren’t my thing.

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet?
I am picking three because I am not much of a rule follower. They are:
~Gossip Girl:  I’ve watched like one episode.  I know, I know.  I have a lot of catching up to do.
~Vanderpump Rules: I know, I know.  This show rules.  But I don’t have cable and can’t watch ;(.  Or wait, maybe I can watch online somewhere?  Does anyone know?
~Scandal: This is another show that everyone says is great but I haven’t gotten into yet. So many great shows.  So little time.

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?

Believe it or not, I want to drop in on a ramp.  No seriously.  I have good balance and feel like I would be good at it.  I am laughing typing this because it just occurred to me that my balance may not be as good as I think it is considering I just fell down the stairs last week.  But I think I can do this.  Rob Dyrdek?  Call me.

4. Would you ever travel alone?
This is a hard one.  I used to travel alone for work and it was totally no big deal at all.  Sure it was kinda boring at times, but never scary or anything.  I’d fly or drive or whatever.  I wouldn’t like backback to a foreign land alone though.

5. What activities do you like to do alone?
Ha!  I like doing lots of things alone.  Going to the bathroom alone is nice.  WB sticks his hands under the door when I am in there sometimes.  Really kid?  Going to Target alone is also a special treat.

Spread the love

I have never watched Gossip Girl either! Hmmm maybe I will start at some point.

  2. Angela

    1. I’m afraid to watch ANY movie where people get chopped up. Am I wrong for that??? I swear people don’t care anymore and can watch the most inhumane stuff. Ew. I watched Hostel 2 and the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre and still can’t get the images out if my head lol never again!

    2. Breaking Bad…I tried. I watched one episode on Netflix after finishing out Son’s of Anarchy which is/was my guilty pleasure. Anyhoo watched the second episode a few days later and tried to watch the first episode again yesterday. I guess it’s possible that I just don’t like the show although I can’t except that due to so many people recommending it. I’ll try again in a few weeks.

    3. I don’t have a bucket list but I still want to get the balls up to try out for a singing competition. I love to sing and all my friends and family yell at me for not singing more often. I have the confidence for it yet I just don’t do it. Hmm maybe one day.

    4. Sure. Normal travels with hotel accommodations, a rental car etc. No zombie apocalypse environments and nowhere where I’m the only pretty girl in sight. I’m a mommy, my risk-taking days are over.

    5. Wow the sound of that just took me to another place. Real alone time? Just me doing what I want with no one bothering me? Oh how I miss that sometimes. When my husband and I were separated briefly I realized that I am a strange loner and I get tired of “alone time” after about 3 hours. I like to ferousously clean uninterrupted while dancing to country music. I like to organize things, try new recipes, do the Insanity workout in my living room and record YouTube videos. I also like to eat random snacks in substitution for meals. Now that I’m a SAHM/wife I guess I like sneaking away to Super-Target on a “grocery run” that really is a Starbucks trip and cosmetic haul.

  3. Angela

And yes! I want to watch Gossip Girl! But just never do lol

  4. Sarah

I would like Rob Dyrdek to call me, but not because I want to drop in on a ramp. 😉 I’m pretty sure dropping in on a ramp would mean the end of me. haha

  5. Becca

Make sure to post about it if you ever drop in! I grew up around skateboarding, but have NO balance, at all. I sprained my ankle getting off the couch, I couldn’t imagine throwing myself down a ramp!

  6. Jackie

I’ve always wanted watch Gossip Girl…but never got around to it.

Also- target is my favorite place and shopping there alone definitely is the way to go.

  7. ana

So awesome that you would like to drop in on a vert ramp! I love skateboarding.honesty have not dropped in since i have had the girls thought. Would be great to go the bathroom alone.

  8. Michelle Tanner

Vanderpump Rules is my guilty pleasure. LOVE it. And I totally said the same about going to the bathroom alone. I miss it with young kiddos running around everywhere.

  9. Carly

Yes, Target alone is necessary. I HATE when my husband is with me. He just doesn’t understand the need to walk the entire store and expects us to just go in, get what we need, and leave. Duh, you do not do that at Target. There are things that I could buy that I don’t know about yet!

  10. Neely

Stop right now and watch scandal!

  11. Julie

I can attest that if you like the Housewives, you’ll like Vanderpump Rules. Only reason I started watching that is because one of the episodes of RHOBH was an enstallment of her new show and now I’m kinda hooked.

Stopping by from the social 🙂

  12. Alexia561

Falling down the stairs was totally not your fault, as you were trying not to squish the dog! Would love to hear about you trying skateboarding, as I stunk at it.

The image of you locking yourself in the bathroom and WB sticking his hands under the door really made me laugh for some reason! Funny how desperate we can become for alone time. 🙂

  13. I once watched one random episode of Gossip Girl, too. Just wasn’t my cup of tea (says the girl who thinks that she has just found out that she has outgrown SATC *help!!*).

    Cheers, Stephanie

    So,
Gossip girl is good, here are few websites you can try for Vanderpump Rules. (Of course, Hulu, Comcast.net (I am thinking with were you live this is your provider, if not maybe your mom and you can use her password). I found a new website with odd shows like Downton Abbey, Dexter, Weeds, Mad Men stream-tv.me just ignore any pop ups and do not click on banners that say something about updating computer or you have a virus. I love stream-tv.me no commercials and shows I have never seen before is awesome.

  15. Jen Dera

I’ve watched Scandal a couple of times and I just can’t seem to get into it. I am looking for new shows to watch that I can find on Hulu or Amazon Prime. I need something else to watch while my regular shoes are off air, so I’m totally open to suggestions. The off season is how I got hooked on Parenthood. I find something and spend a crazy amount of time watching all the episodes up to current and then act like I was crazy productive when my hubby gets home. Kidding… kinda.

  16. Elizabeth

You can watch most of your favorite shows here http://xfinitytv.comcast.net and they DO have Vanderpump Rules! I watch all my guilty pleasure shows that way since we don’t have cable!

    1. Elizabeth

      @Elizabeth:

You do need a password for some of the shows…which means you have to be a Comcast subscriber or something. I think you can filter those out by clicking on that box next to the little orange key on the left hand side. I don’t have an account and was able to watch Vanderpump Rules last night without needing a password…about half the shows on there are not password protected.

You’ve inspired me to go to Target with my 16 month old. We’ve gone 4 weekends in a row now at 9 AM. It is just something to do with him. I look around and I see all the other mom’s at opening time with their little ones. So it must be like the thing to do.
