I’m Loving…..

Yes to Carrots Shampoo & Conditioner: The Easter Bunny had to make a last minute trip to Target over the weekend and took advantage of the alone time to do some browsing.  Wow, that was dangerous.  There are so many buried treasures at that place, it’s almost criminal NOT to bring some home. This stuff is amazing.  And not overly spendy (like the other shampoo and conditioner I bought).

Travel Snacks.  Who thinks of this stuff?  Certainly not me, but I am thankful for the people that do.  I am so stealing this idea for car trips up-north, picnics, backyard camping and whenever else L wants a muffin tin meal, but needs a lid for it.

I’m Loving…..

L

My Big Kid.  All the work and stress that the holidays bring is washed away the minute you see how much happiness kids get from them.  I was *this close* to not buying L a chocolate covered Peep because I thought it was disgusting, but then I remembered it wasn’t about me.  And yeah, L loved it.  Favorite thing in the basket I’d say.

I’m Loving…..

The Tigers. Yeah technically the season already started, but in Detroit, it doesn’t really start until the home opener, which is this Friday.  You can feel the excitement in the air and certainly you can see it on Facebook.  It’s going to be quite the sporgy (if you click that, it’s #5) here this weekend with the Tigers, Wings and, of course, Michigan in the Final Four!

I’m Loving…..

NatureBox Avocado Egg Salad: Umm, I saw this on Pinterest last night and I am dying to make it.  I think it’s what I am having for lunch.  Avocados, hard boiled eggs and greek yogurt.  Yes please!  Seriously.  How amazing does this sound / look.

I’m Loving…..

The WB

My Baby.  This kid.  I swear. It’s like having a newborn and a crazy toddler all in one.  He still needs his late night feedings, has no teeth and sucks his thumb, but he’s also a total wild man!  His hobbies include playing in pantry and pulling cans off the shelves, playing in the dog bowls, chewing the remote and knocking books off my bookshelf.  And while he doesn’t really know a lot of different people, he has no stranger danger whatsoever.  He enjoys when strangers talk to him at Target or the grocery store or wherever.  I actually think he waits for it.

I’m Loving…..

The Nutribullet

The Nutribullet.  I watch this infomercial at least twice a week and I swear, I need this d*mn thing.  Does it really work this amazing?  Because this guy is so close to selling me this thing it’s unreal.  I want to enjoy delicious nutriblasts in my home in seconds!  Someone must have this.  Do I need it?  Because I think I’m in love.

That’s it from here.  What are you loving this week?

Spread the love

You crack me up!! I was thinking the same thing about that stinking nutribullet. Believe all the hype??? Someone fess up please!

That avocado egg salad looks awesome! Please report back.

I don’t have the nutribulley but it looks just like my magic bullet which i cannot live without. The magic bullet is only like 50 at target and i make so many fast yummy smoothies and other things it’s crazy yummy.(and I’ve had it since it first came out years ago and it’s still working like new!)

  3. Kristin

Skinny taste has an avocado egg salad that I make all the time. It’s a wee bit different than the one you listed, but I’m sure equally delicious!!!!

  4. Carla

Nutribullet? YES! I have had mine since last mother’s day and I use it every day almost! I make veggie/fruit blends but I also add those frozen bags of fruit/yogurt blends with soy or almond milk, some flax seeds and screw on the lid and i’m off to work…healthy breakfast or meal replacement in seconds.

  5. Tina

That avocado egg salad is A-MAZING!! I saw the same recipe and tried it for lunch the next day…sooo yum…I even made extra for my hubby & co-worker & they LOVED it!

I am intrigued by all Yes to Carrots stuff but haven’t purchased anything yet. Something about feeling like if I am spending more than $5 on some type of beauty product, I shouldn’t buy it at Target.

  7. Alicia

If its anything like the magic bullet then its awesome! I love my magic bullet.

  8. Hi Jennifer
We are loving the look of the avocado egg sandwich! Going to make it for lunch tomorrow – we are on a healthy diet here in Dingle, Ireland.
Your kids are very cute. Babies are great!

My mom has a nutribullet!! She uses it at least twice every single day. And it takes like 2 seconds to grind up your smoothie. Def try it!

    Awesome stuff esp the boys!

Where can I get the box for the Travel Snack box?

NutriBullet looks like a recasted and painted version of the Magic Bullet. Hmmm…

That egg salad looks YUM. I am totally going to make this.

I have the magic bullet and the baby bullet, which are pretty much the same thing and YES they are amazing. When Tuff Stuff was younger we made his baby food and now it’s great for smoothies or anything else you would use a blender or food processor for. When hubby bought them I didn’t think I would like them as much but I use them almost every day.

  12. I have a magic bullet, which I think is who makes this and its the most wonderful thing I own! It’s so easy to make an individual shake and the clean-up is quick and easy too! Just make sure you use plenty of liquids or you end up with paste type smoothy or a ton of chunks! It took me a couple of times using it to get a handle on it. Mr. Wonderful bought me the baby bullet so that we can make our own baby food!!!

I used to buy really spend shampoo (Bumble and Bumble and Enjoy were my faves) but on a whim I bought the Loreal ever pure stuff at Target and I am OBSESSED. It is seriously incredible and it is $6/bottle. I have converted many friends and my hairdresser even recommends it now! You have to try it when your Yes to Carrots runs out. Or before 😉

  14. Sophia

    1. Chocolate covered peeps are THE BEST.
    2. I saw the avocado egg salad too! I’ve been wanting to try it, but am also way too lazy
    3. What is this Nutribullet? How does it differ from a Magic Bullet?

  15. Erica G.

OMG that avocado egg salad looks amazing. I wish that Subway would get their avocado back! I’d rather have that on my sandwich than light mayo anyday.

  16. Annette

The Yes to Carrots is my least favorite of the bunch, the Tomatoes and Cucumber ones are amazing but harder to find at most stores that carry the brand, even though they’ll carry the face stuff.

Definitely overall, good stuff though! The Yes to Carrots balm is also great lol

  17. Alexia561

Never knew they made chocolate covered peeps! Sounds disgusting to me to, but think DH would love them! Going to have to check out the Loreal ever pure next time I’m at Target, as I’m getting low on shampoo and don’t have any samples due. Love those shampoo samples! 🙂

Ooh, that snack box is a great idea! I’m totally stealing that too! And I think I may have to try that egg sandwich. Looks yummy!
