May NatureBox

My second month of NatureBox arrived today and I couldn’t have been happier to see it. I have been stalking my mailbox all week and today was my lucky day. In case you aren’t familiar, NatureBox is a convenient snack subscription service that delivers delicious snacks to your door each month. A deluxe NatureBox with 5 full-sized bags of snacks is $19.95 per month, shipping is always free, and you can cancel anytime.

The Box

NatureBox ships via USPS and this month (unlike last month) I got a tracking e-mail about it, so I knew it was on it’s way!

First Look

I was excited to see what NatureBox picked for me this month. My account didn’t show the option to pick my own snacks (which is one of their news features) until a few days ago, but I’m going to be all over this next month!

The Information Card

This month’s NatureBox theme is “Picnic Season” and NatureBox suggests you toss these snacks into your basket to share with your favorite people or just treat yourself to some serious non non time (and sunshine). Here’s what my May NatureBox box included:

~Salsa Spiced Nut Mix: Instead of plain old salted nuts, these are salsa spiced and are quite delicious. I never just grab nuts for a snack (LOL), but I totally would snack on these. They have that extra kick that makes them way better.

~BBQ Kettle Kernels: I didn’t expect to like these as much as I do, but it’s not a bad thing at all. They aren’t all greasy and gross and I’d totally select them again in a future box.

~Cherry Ganache Granola: I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s granola, so I am sure I will like it.  Not like OMGTHISISAMAZING like it, but just like it.  I’ll throw this on some yogurt or have B take it to work and I’ll never see it again.

~Peanut Butter Non Noms: The jury is still out on these.  I thought I’d love them since they are described as “cookie dough without the guilt”, but it’s just not the same.  They aren’t bad at all, just not cookie dough like which is what I want them to be like.  LOL!!  I’d probably get them again.

~Guacamole Bites: I totally saved the best for last.  I had seen these in some other people’s boxes and I wanted then.  Bad.  I was SO excited when I saw them in my box and opened them right away.  I mean, after I took a picture of course.  They are just as delicious as I’d hoped.  So so so good.  Get NatureBox and get these!!!

Broken down, each package of NatureBox works out to be $4/each, or about $1/serving.  That’s way less than what you’d pay at your local fancy pants heath store that’s for sure.
