May NatureBox

My second month of NatureBox arrived today and I couldn’t have been happier to see it. I have been stalking my mailbox all week and today was my lucky day. In case you aren’t familiar, NatureBox is a convenient snack subscription service that delivers delicious snacks to your door each month. A deluxe NatureBox with 5 full-sized bags of snacks is $19.95 per month, shipping is always free, and you can cancel anytime.

The Box

NatureBox ships via USPS and this month (unlike last month) I got a tracking e-mail about it, so I knew it was on it’s way!

First Look

I was excited to see what NatureBox picked for me this month. My account didn’t show the option to pick my own snacks (which is one of their news features) until a few days ago, but I’m going to be all over this next month!

The Information Card

This month’s NatureBox theme is “Picnic Season” and NatureBox suggests you toss these snacks into your basket to share with your favorite people or just treat yourself to some serious non non time (and sunshine). Here’s what my May NatureBox box included:

~Salsa Spiced Nut Mix: Instead of plain old salted nuts, these are salsa spiced and are quite delicious. I never just grab nuts for a snack (LOL), but I totally would snack on these. They have that extra kick that makes them way better.

~BBQ Kettle Kernels: I didn’t expect to like these as much as I do, but it’s not a bad thing at all. They aren’t all greasy and gross and I’d totally select them again in a future box.

~Cherry Ganache Granola: I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s granola, so I am sure I will like it.  Not like OMGTHISISAMAZING like it, but just like it.  I’ll throw this on some yogurt or have B take it to work and I’ll never see it again.

~Peanut Butter Non Noms: The jury is still out on these.  I thought I’d love them since they are described as “cookie dough without the guilt”, but it’s just not the same.  They aren’t bad at all, just not cookie dough like which is what I want them to be like.  LOL!!  I’d probably get them again.

~Guacamole Bites: I totally saved the best for last.  I had seen these in some other people’s boxes and I wanted then.  Bad.  I was SO excited when I saw them in my box and opened them right away.  I mean, after I took a picture of course.  They are just as delicious as I’d hoped.  So so so good.  Get NatureBox and get these!!!

Broken down, each package of NatureBox works out to be $4/each, or about $1/serving.  That’s way less than what you’d pay at your local fancy pants heath store that’s for sure.

I signed up in time for the may box but got the march box instead…. Anyway, saw these in other people’s and just had to have those guacamole things so I emailed them asking why and they are sending me a may box. So excited to get it!

I subscribe to the professional snacker box. My only complaint is that it takes forever to get from CA to VA and they do not offer an upgraded shipping option. That said, I will keep my subscription because the snacks are so delicious! Our faves are the macaroon granola, honey mustard dippers, and sour cream & onion almonds.

      @JenC:

It is SO easy and such a lifesaver! I use the large one for my two furbabies on a biweekly delivery schedule. I also purchased the box that goes with it, so we just swap them, spray and wipe the box out, and toss the old one in the building trash bin. To make it even easier, I simply flush their solid waste in the toilet.

I”m looking for a good food box that would provide me with new snacks for work, which is your favorite?

I ordered NatureBox about two weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised! It was August Box, Blissful Beach Days, and included:
    *country ranch sunflower kernels
    *garden tomato almonds
    *whole wheat blueberry figgy bars
    *lemon tea biscuits
    *big island pineapple
*cherry ganache granola (in my box, not on info card tho)

I enjoyed them all!! Granola was probably my favoritest fave. Can’t wait for my next box. So happy to have found your website here today and now I am definitely addicted to boxes!! I ordered several more from different companies on your recommendations…thanks!

I receive the Happy Snacker once a month and we get 5 snacks 2 of each once a month. I like that I can choose which snacks I get. I ordered it for my husband and it turns out that my teenage kids like them also. We have gotten a snack that no one liked but that is okay. I try to encourage everyone to try everything and what we do not like we make sure we do not ask for it again. I am thinking of upgrading to the Smart Snacker since this one only lasts about 2 weeks if I am lucky.

I snack ALOT, and got the 20 bags ( 5 choices- /4 each), I would rather try this then the candy which was truthfully my FIRST choice, however my doctor told me I needed to lose weight not gain it..lol. My box is due in 2 days, unfortunately i will be in Iowa.. and my box will be in FL :(… I have to agree it Does take forever for the boxes to get get from the west coast to the east coast… but I am so excited to try this.. I would never have tried this type of snack though if I had not read Jen’s reviews as I am a VERY, VERY picky eater. So I appreciate your reviews, the pictures and the complete honesty about what you really think. ( However- I am a tea hound..lol)
