The Bride Box is a brand new monthly box filled with fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more catered specifically to brides. It’s $35/month and May was their first ever box! How fun!
Since The Bride Box is brand new, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean, the girls behind the idea look super cool, but you never really know with a brand new subscription company you know? I know some people are scared to take a chance on a brand new box, so when I love when I get a chance to review one so everyone can get an idea about what you’ll get in the box, what the shipping is like (they ship via USPS and it was fast), etc.
I was excited to see the giant information card in the first look and thought that the weekly wedding calendar was fun too. And of course, if you want it for more than one week, just make a color copy of it. I love the idea of hole punching it putting it in a wedding binder.
May’s The Bride Box theme is “Love is in the Air” and like I mentioned before, is the first ever The Bride Box! On the information card, The Bride Box asks that you pardon their dust as they “continue to improve their functionality”. I love that they aren’t acting like things are going to be perfect and want you to know they are constantly working on improving.
Here is what was in the May The Bride Box:
~LOVE Burlap Banner ($35): I LOVE this burlap banner. I would totally buy something like this on Etsy and think it would be perfect for engagement pictures. And after engagement pictures, it would make a great Valentine’s Day decoration, which is exactly what I plan to use it for.
~Noell Desiree Mrs. Necklace ($45): While I am not getting married (again) anytime soon, I am a Mrs. and think this is very sweet. I can totally see this as a great gift for a new bride! A perfect honeymoon item!!!!
~”I Do” Rhinestone Stickers ($8): The Bride Box suggests these are your “something blue” on your wedding day and I love the idea. They suggest placing them on the back of your heels, which I love. I’m totally passing these along to my next friend or relative who gets married!
~Teresa Marie Designs Chocolate Lips & Mustache ($7): I think photobooths at weddings at so fun and I love all the fun props people are using these days. These serve as both props and snacks, which is a great idea. You might not be able to tell from my picture, but one is a mustache and the other is lips. Adorable. And quite tasty according to L.
~Wedding Party App (Free): The Wedding Part app bills itself as the best way to capture and share your wedding photos with guests. Everyone can upload pictures via the app and can you (and everyone else) can easily view all the pictures in an instant. This is awesome because you don’t always get to see pictures everyone else has taken and this is a perfect way to collect and share them all!
~Guinot Cleansing Cream(Sample): I’ve never heard of this brand, but it sounds great and I look forward to trying it out. The Bride Box has included this in the box because they know it’s time o start that fierce pre-wedding facial routine!
All totaled, I came up with a value of $95 for the premier The Bride Box! Pretty great since the box itself is only $35! While I am not a bride and didn’t have a real wedding, I love the idea behind this box! Wedding planning can be super stressful (or so I hear), and I think this would be a great way to take a break every month and check out some fun new products and ideas!

Oh my gosh, this is amazing! I loved everything in it. Sooo cute. Hahaha um I gotta admit when I first saw the items in the box I thought the banner was some strange burlap underwear. Oops!!
Haha so did I!
What a cute box!
No.Way. I’d rather sub back to Popsugar for $35 a month instead of this.
Seriously $45 for that necklace and $35 for the burlap banner?!?! Are they crazy? Both could easily be made for under $10.
I would prefer maybe more pampering items or even the materials to DIY these items.
I got my May box and absolutely loved everything in it! I don’t know where you saw wire necklaces or banners for less than $10 because if you did I definitely want to know – I cruise Etsy and Pinterest religiously so having things sent to me that I may have pinned, but am too lazy to make is awesome. I agree I really hope they send DIY tutorials – that would be fun. But I would rather have the finished product than a box of materials.
I loved my May box & have already gotten tons of compliments on my Love necklace. But I am bummed I missed out on the discount code! Do you think if I unsubscribe then subscribe again I can use the code? Not sure if that works with sub boxes.
Interesting idea, but I can’t get past the name being plastered all over the outside of the box. All I could think of was the instant terror of any single man seeing his girlfriend receive this in the mail! And I bet your mailman was curious too! *L*
I totally loved my box! It is refreshing to receive quality items of a more personalized and delicately crafted nature like ones found on Etsy as opposed to your typical commercial garbage packaged somewhere in a 3rd world country. I too also hope that they will decide to include DIY tutorials in the future, as that would make their boxes even more fun. Three cheers for The Bride Box and I can’t wait to get their next box!
Great idea! Too bad I got married almost 2 yrs ago, lol. And the wedding app? Just heard of it Monday… It was listed on a wedding invitation telling us to download and share the day of the wedding! Again, too bad I already had my wedding, lol.
I subscribed a few days ago! They sent me a survey to fill out so maybe in the future every box will be tailored to individual brides?
thanks for the review stumbled on to his box earlier this month but no good reviews were done on it. thanks
