I wasn’t expecting a Bleu Box from Bleu Vintage in my mailbox this week, but I’m never sad to get a surprise in my mailbox either.

Bleu Box is a monthly jewelry and accessories subscription box.  You can select from the Bleu Box Silver ($24.99/month) or the Bleu Box Gold ($49.99/month).  Bleu Box comes to you from Bleu Vintage, which is an online shop offering wide variety of both vintage and retro handbags, shoes, and accessories.

I wasn’t sure what to think by the first look. Actually I couldn’t get past the sunglasses!  And while wild and SO not my style, I couldn’t wait to try them on.  No, seriously.  I ran to the bathroom right away to see what they looked like on me.

Here’s what all was in the June Bleu Box:

~Color Bow Ring ($10): This ring is totally cute, but totally not something I can see myself wearing.  I am going to pass it along to a friend’s daughter or one of my younger cousins who will enjoy it.

~Cuban Link Necklace ($16): I really like this!  It’s not super heavy or bulky, but still big enough to make a statement.  And for the price, I feel like you can wear a few times here and there and not feel guilty you aren’t wearing it every single day.

~Retro Aviator Sunglasses ($20): I am not sure I can pull these off, but oddly, they don’t look as wild on as they do in the pictures.  I plan to wear them when I am out with B to see if he notices and wonders what on earth I am up to.  They are totally retro that’s for sure.

~Chevron Purple and Blue Multi Print Bow Hair Scarf ($10) : Ohh, I am very excited about this.  I’m not going to wear it so there is a big bow on my head or anything.  I plan on tying it underneath (you know what I mean) so it’s flat on the top.  I know that this won’t give me a headache and will hold my crazy hair back, so I am excited.

All totaled I came up with a value of $56 for the June Bleu Box Silver, which is over double the value of the box cost of $24.99/month.  Would I have bought each piece separately?  Nope.  But that’s the fun of a box like this!  You never know what you are going to get!
