~We had a fun (and busy) weekend over here which included Tons O’ Trucks (a local event with, you guess it, a ton of different kinds of trucks), a few bike rides, swimming, errands and OMG a trip to Dave & Busters. Dave & Busters beats Chuck E Cheese any day of the week. By far. And they have better prizes. A mean pinky bear is L’s new BFF! And WB won a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters who he adores. I suspect we will be back there. And soon. Ohh, and B also ran a 5K yesterday. I think he’s up to 8 or 9? He’s go another one this weekend too. And then one the weekend after that.
~I spent some time this weekend updating the “FAQ” and the “Things I Sell” tabs on the blog. If you haven’t already, go check them out. And since I have been getting a lot of questions about Advocare Spark, I explained all that in there too. And I also spent a ton of time updating the “Subscription Box Reviews” tab. I haven’t updated the items in the scroll down menu (yet), but the review tab itself now includes a listing over EVERY box I have ever reviewed. Let me know if there is anything you think I could do to change it to make it easier to read, better, etc!
~OMG, so I started watching the new season of The Real World last night and I think I’m in love. As usual, these people are bananas. And I love every minute of it. This is the first cast in ages that I am totally interested in. Does anyone else watch?
~This week I am expecting boxes from Unmentionably Cheeky, Petite Parcel, Bonjour Jolie, Stork Stack, Birchbox Man, bluum and that might just be it. And I need to get reviews up MeUndies, Carefree Crafts and lullubee. A slow week if you will! Totally not a bad thing. You need that every once in a while.
~Today is L’s last day of school. Wednesday is his graduation (which is going to be so cute). And then? School is OUT! I feel like this year flew by. Flew! I can’t wait to do a comparison picture with this one later in the week 😉
What do you have going on this week? Anything exciting? Are your kids out of school yet?
Can’t wait to see the comparison pic! I want to do that when Mackenzie starts school!
I hope to get my Julep box this week. So painting my nails is my only goal this week. :o)
Tomorrow is Dill’s last day of school and then he will be a 1st grader! I might just cry 🙁
School has been out here in Mississippi 1 week today. All of my kids started camps today. Our summer is packed full of fun adventures and activities. Starting to plan a a Hello Kitty Pink Glam party for my daughter and a Sixteenth for my oldest this summer
The updates look great! And I NEED these school grade signs to take pictures of Willard!!! I’m already a year behind! How did I not think of this!?! Where do I get them? Oh and I need something to watch this summer so I’m gonna take a peep at Real World. I haven’t watched that stuff since high school and I bet I’m gonna love it even more now!
I watched the first two episodes of the new season, but then I canceled our cable and I kinda forgot about it. Good thing I can easily catch up on MTV.com
What kinds of games did Dave and Busters have that were appropriate for WB? My son is a few months older than WB and I have been thinking about going there with him, but we haven’t made it yet 🙂
I can’t stop watching The Real World either. I think the last season I watched was Australia. For some reason, I started watching this season with my husband, and I can’t get enough. I am going to be so sad with this trainwreck is over!!
Did you watch the premiere of the Real Housewives of New Jersey yet? They are by far my favorite and I can’t wait t hear what you think about the new season!
I love comparison pictures! (Thanks to Pinterest) what I did this year was take a picture of my son on the first day of Kindergarten holding a paper (like you have above) except it said the date, First day of Kindergarten, and then said “When I grow up I want to be:” and he filled in the blank. So I will do that every year to see how his ideas of what he wants to be changes. Then on his last day of kindergarten I took a picture of him holding and 8×10 framed picture of himself on the first day of school. CUTE! So you could see the change in one photo! How I love Pinterest! 🙂
