The Bride Box is a new’ish monthly box (this is their third box) filled with fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more catered specifically to brides. I know that I am not a bride, but I enjoy reviewing all sorts of boxes and this one is no exception!

The Box

The July The Bride Box was in a smaller box than the other two boxes had been in. It instantly made me want to open the box even more because I was so curious what was inside. The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took only 3 days to arrive to me (in MI) from FL.

Second First Look

The first (and second) look had me wanting to see more right away! I was so curious to dig into the box and check out all these fun goodies.  B and one of his friends were there when I was opening the box and got a kick out of digging through it as well.

The Information Card

The July The Bride Box theme was “Last Fling before the Ring” and included lots of goodies to help you celebrate your Bachelorette Party. I haven’t been to a Bachelorette Party in ages!  In my 20’s I swear there was one every weekend in the summer, but not so much anymore.  I do still have some single friends so here’s hoping someone gets engaged soon.  Here is what goodies were included:

~Bachelorette Part Dare to Do It Activity Cards ($5.52):  We opened these cards and started reading some of the dares.  Some were silly (do the hula with a male wearing a floral print shirt) and some were funny (kiss a bald man on the head) and some could get downright dirty (find a guy with an unseen body piercing and have him show you) and I cracked up at them all.  One of them was to get the phone number of a “very hunky male”, which is exactly how I met B. I got his number at the bar while at a friend’s bachelorette party to help satisfy her list of “to-do’s”.  You never know what is going to happen at bachelorette parties ;).

~Bachelorette Party Shot Glass ($2.96): A few shots will make the Dare to Do It Cards even more entertaining.  And something tells me that the person who consumes the most shots (in a responsible manner of course) is also going to be the person who completes the most dares from the cards.  Just a guess though ;).

~Bachelorette Sunglasses ($14.99): Ha!  What’s not to love about these?  They are hysterical and would be a perfect accessory to a bachelorette party.  Who doesn’t wear sunglasses at the bar at night?  I know I have!

~Bride-To-Be Sash ($16): I have never gotten to wear a sash for any event, but I have kind of wanted to. It’s for sure a fun way to identify the bride without making her look too silly out at the bars during her “last fling before the ring”.

~Bride-To-Be Wine Glass ($12): This is so perfect and the quality is top notch.  I didn’t take it out of the packaging  because I want to save it and make sure it stays 100% perfect for my next bride-to-be friend, but it’s heavy and you can fit A LOT of wine in that glass.  A lot.

All totaled I came up with a value of $51.47 for the July The Bride Box (which is well over the $35/month cost of the box)!  This is probably my favorite The Bride Box so far and I am now itching to go to a Bachelorette Party.  Or maybe just get all my married friends together and throw a faux Bachelorette Party and just pretend someone’s getting married!
