My June Tyler Florence Fancy Box finally arrived yesterday and I was thrilled to get my hands on it when my mail (and my Dad) arrived up-north this morning.

The Box

Once again Fancy used the special Tyler Florence boxes and which I think are so cute!  I should mention that the Tyler Florence boxes seem to be arriving later and later, which I am getting a tad annoyed about.  Not annoyed enough not to get them, but still annoyed.

First Look

The July Tyler Florence Fancy Box first look was fun because this box was nice and full!  I mean there was still plenty of packing material, but it was still super full.

The Information Cards

As always, I love the Fancy information cards.  I love the notes from Tyler Florence (who I now love even more because he once responded to me on Twitter), the cute little cards, everything!  Here’s what my box included:

~Kikkerland Burger Coasters ($5): These are fun and cute, but we aren’t big coaster users around here. I might use them outside on the patio just for kicks. If nothing else, L will enjoy them!

~Verseur Multi Functional Wine Opener ($24.99): I don’t have any issues with opening a bottle of wine with a wine key (like the Corkatoo that PopSugar sent a few months ago) or my teeth if it’s really an emergency, but I also do love all the fancy gadgets that open wine. B is all over this and now that the cleanse portion of the Challenge is over, we are free to have a glass of wine, so this will certainly get used this weekend!

~Rednek Sipper Glasses ($15.99): OMG, you know I love these! I have purchased more mason jar mugs in the past few weeks than I will ever need, but these are different since they don’t have handles and they are real glass (the other ones are plastic). I would totally have bought these if I ever saw these in a store (and B wasn’t with me to try to talk some sense into me)! Love!

~CocoDrill Coconut Opener ($9.99): I cannot stand coconut water and would never actually buy a coconut to use this on, so this may end up in the regift / donate pile. However, if you did like coconut milk, I could imagine this being super cool. B and I tried to open a coconut a few years ago to try coconut water and OMG is was so difficult. I feel like B may have even gotten a drill out to do it?

~Vine by Quirky ($7.99): Oh we will totally use these! Sometimes we just don’t have room in the door for a bottle of wine and it gets annoying to have bottles rolling all over the fridge.

~Chef’n Flexicado Avocado Slicer ($6.56): I don’t know that I have ever thought to myself, wow, I need an avocado slicer, but I do eat a lot of avocados so I will certainly put it to use! I actually do usually slice my avocados before I put them in a salad (they chop easier that way) and a knife always works okay, but maybe if I were actually serving these to someone I’d want it to be all neat and pretty like this will do!

~Chef’n Burger Machine Mini Press ($7.99): We have a full sized burger press which we do use every time we make burgers, so know we will use this! For some reason I enjoy mini burgers more than full sized ones. Maybe because they are so cute??

All totaled I came up with a value of $78.51 for the June Tyler Florence Fancy Box! As always, it’s more than the $46.95 ($39 + $7.95 shipping) cost of the box and I really enjoyed this month! It had a lot of items as opposed to just a few bigger ones (sometimes the Fancy boxes only have 4 items) and I love that because there are more chances to love it that way!

Did you get a Tyler Florence Fancy Box? What’d you think of the box? Thinking of ordering? Click here and get on it! I still can’t find any coupon codes (come on already Fancy Box), but I will let you know if I hear of any. Oh, and if you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site!

I am still on my no fancy box drought… actually I am thinking I will cave and either get the food or Jennifer Love Hewitt this month….I can honestly say that the RedNeck Sippers are the only item I am really bummed out over on not getting this box… I am trying so hard to stand my ground with Fancy , but I just LOVE their boxes…..and I have those credits and a gift card…. really , really need to stay strong and not order these boxes!

Your obsession with mason jar mugs has me rolling! You are freaking hilarious! I saw them the other day in the store and contemplated buying them (the last thing I need is more cups.) You’re addiction is contagious!

not too impressed with the box but i WANT that cocodrill!

I grew up in a town with a coconut man by every highway entrance and flea market so I was raised on them. i got the bf into coconuts and I still swear that coconut water from the nut is nothing like any of the bottled versions (they all miss that full mouth fattiness and they all of them are WAY too sweet)

True fact: opening a coconut is really easy. there are three holes at the top and one of them will always easily push through with a stick (chopstick, ice pick, etc) just make the hole as big as you can and turn it upside down, maybe shaking to get it out faster. then you can just crack it by throwing it on cement or something lol. pour some lime juice and a bit of chili and salt and you’re good to go 😉

I need to get Dustin a set of those sipper glasses. We have a couple jars with handles that he loves to use for his drinks. These would be great for him to take outside though.

Everything here is amazing, except the coconut sipper. Coconut water is disgusting but coconut milk is delicious!

YES! one my of my favourite reviews! Oh man the avocado slicer, you will have to let me know if it’s easy to use!! I really want to order Fancy, but I’ve heard they have issues with billing all the time from your blog and some others…also the $17 shipping to Canada. Have a great weekend!!

This was an awesome box. Wow. I didn?t even know burger presses existed and I so want one now, mini and reg. I’ve known about the avocado slicer, I just seem to do fine with a knife (usually?) but I bet this would be more efficient. The Keep Wine In Line thing is a genius idea ? and I know we would use that. I?ve never tried to open a coconut or even purchased one, but if I had a cocodrill coconut opener, I?d probably have them more often than I do now (which is never). Andddd I love my cockatoo from popsugar? and I?m totally set on using that because it?s super cool.

I’ve totally decided my July Pinterest challenge is going to be making myself some of those mason jar sipper mugs. All the ones I keep seeing on your blog have convinced me that I need some too. I’ve pinned a few easy to follow tutorials so I should be able to figure it out. I’ll be sure to post pics on my site when I do, and let you know so that maybe you can make more for yourself. You know, just in case you run out.

By the way, I found a code for Fancy boxes. It’s “FOLLOWUP10” and it’s good for 10% of your first Fancy box. Hope that helps!

    Cheers,

Anyone excited about this box has no business being in the kitchen. What a total load of junk that could have been rummaged from the dollar bin at Target. Coconut drill? Avocado slicer? $80 worth of stuff, my a*#!

The outrageous claim that Tyler hand picks this stuff is laughable at best. Either he has absolutely nothing to do with the items in the box, or we have seriously overestimated his opinion of what handy kitchen gadgets really are. (I’m going with the former)

P.S. For those wondering, the avocado slicer is the most useless unitasker ever. First off, they don’t work. You will mangle your avocado and leave a lot of tasty meat in the hull. Second, you already have one!!…. It’s called a knife and a spoon. Just slice your avocado in the hull, scoop with spoon, TADA!

Coconut drill? Really?!?! Only a handful of people in the country actually open coconuts themselves….. and I guarantee you they do not use one of these. Use the drill in your garage, people!

What a colossal waste of time, money, and anticipation for this overpriced subscription. Tyler should be embarrassed his name is attached to this. But I guess the royalty checks are worth it….

I am obsessed with mason jars! I recently bought the plastic ones with the handle and straw and my husband was disappointed they weren’t real glass. I have to check out these mason jars.

It looks like you got a really fun box of goodies. The burger press is a pretty cool gadget too. And I think mini burgers are just too cute.
