Allure Beauty Box - Fall Must Haves
Allure Beauty Box – Fall Must Haves

Oh my goodness, my Fall Allure Beauty Box arrived yesterday!  The Allure Beauty Box is available on a seasonal basis (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall) and includes the seasons most essential products.  Allure has been offering these boxes for ages and I recall getting them long long long before subscription boxes were the in thing.  They send full sized products and it’s probably one of the best, if not the boxes, “bang for your buck boxes”.  It’s $39.99 (but worked out to $52.99 with shipping and taxes) and includes hundreds of dollars worth of products.  The only thing is, it sells out FAST.  It’s one of those things that if you don’t set an alert for, you will miss it.  I think it took *maybe* 20-25 minutes to sell out this season?

The Box

The Allure Beauty Box ships via UPS (and weighed 10bs) and is shipped based on your order number.  My order was #2279, which was probably pretty close to last batch of boxes shipped.  I don’t think they sold more than 2500 – 3000 boxes?

Like I said I haven’t gotten an Allure Box in ages and was kind of just expecting a bunch of products dumped in a box.  But no, this was much fancier.  All of the products were in the individual slots in the cardboard divider.  I had some trouble getting them out though, so I just ended up dumping the box upsidedown.

The Information Booklet

The Allure Beauty Box comes with a fancy information booklet, which lists each product individually and gives details on the product and also lists websites where you can find out more.

~Burt’s Bees Revitalizing Lip Balm with Blueberry & Dark Chocolate ($3.30): I love BB’s and I didn’t even know such a flavor existed!

Burt’s Bees Revitalizing Lip Balm with Blueberry & Dark Chocolate

~Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask ($32): OMG I am very excited about this. You are suppose to experience 96% less breakage after one use.  I need to get my haircut and then start using this so I can see how it really works.  As a sidenote, I remember getting CD’s products years and years ago, before she really hit it big!

Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask

~Cetaphil DailyAdvance Lotion Ultra Hydrating ($9.19): A great everyday lotion.  This is going to B because he’s running out.

~Goldwell StyleSign Magic Finish Brilliance Hairspray ($17.99): I haven’t been using hairspray a ton lately (I’m all about the salt sprays this summer), but this will be great come fall.

Goldwell StyleSign Magic Finish Hair Spray

~KMS California HAIRSTAY Anti-Humidity Seal ($17.99):  Ohh, I love this.  It’s suppose to shield hair from frizz (in addition to other things) to provide a shiny, weightless finish.

~Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash ($6.99): I have been meaning to buy this but haven’t gotten around to it.  I was excited to see it in the box for sure.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

~Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Night Moisturizer ($21.99): This is a night moisturizer, which I am better about using than normal day time ones.  It’s suppose to reduce the look of dark spots and discoloration in just one week.

Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Night Moisturizer

~Neutrogena TRIPLE MOISTURE Deep Recovery Hair Mask ($6.99): I need to do a little research on what makes this different than the CD one and how I can use them together to achieve the best results!

Neutrogena TRIPLE MOISTURE Deep Recovery Hair Mask

~Pixie Eye Bright Liner ($17): This is suppose to make your eyes look bigger and more awake.  I haven’t decided if I want to keep it yet or pass it along to a friend, so I haven’t tried it.

PIXI Eye Bright Liner

~Redermic [R] Eyes Dermatological Anti-Aging Eye Corrector – Intensive ($56.99):  Ohh, this is AMAZING!  It won a 2011 Allure Best of Beauty Award and combines pure retinol + Caffeine for visible results against crow’s-feet and dark circles.  This alone makes the value of the box worth it!

Redermic [R] Eyes Dermatological Anti-Aging Eye Corrector – Intensive
~Redken All Soft Argan-6 Oil ($30):  I love argan oils on my hair and didn’t even realize Redken make one.  I need to do some more Target beauty aisle browsing!

Redken All Soft Argan-6 Oil

~Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow-Dry Lotion ($18): I don’t blow dry my hair much in the summer, but come fall / winter I will be again.  And hopefully this does really help to protect hair because I turn my dryer up to the highest setting possible.

Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow-Dry Lotion

~RoC MULTI CORREXION NOURISH Stress Repair Eye Cream ($24.99): My lifestyle isn’t as stressful as it used to be (this helps fight signs of aging caused by a stressful lifestyle), but my eyes can always use a little help!

RoC MULTI CORREXION NOURISH Stress Repair Eye Cream

~Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs ($12.99): I have never tried this but have looked at it multiple times at the store. My legs are a mess and I’ll be happy to try this out next time I wear a skirt.

~Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure ($7.99): You know I love this.  Nail polish makes me happy and this is a great color!  I love it and I can’t wait to use it!

~Sally Hansen Ouch-Relief Wax Strip Kit ($8.99): This will be perfect for B!  He gets these random wild hairs on his back can’t stand if I try and pluck them.  This will work out quite nicely!

Sally Hansen Ouch-Relief Wax Strip Kit

~Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in Laced Up ($12.99): I bought these a while ago and didn’t have much luck applying them so I look forward to getting a second chance!  I think my problem is that I want it to take like 5 minutes total and it’s more of a process than that.

~Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + Balm ($6.40): My cuticles are in good shape these days (thanks to all the cuticle oil I have been receiving), but this looks fun!  And super easy, which I appreciate.

~Sation Nail Laquer in Wine-y Happy People ($5): More nail polish makes me happy!  I never ever buy nail polish at the store because I have so so much, but I love when it appears in boxes.

Sation Wine-y Happy People

~Schick Hydro Silk Razor (Sample): I usually use men’s razors, but of course I will try this.  Maybe I just don’t give the women’s ones enough of a chance?

Schick Hydro Silk

~Simple Hydrating Moisturizer ($8.99):  Exactly what it says it is.  A simple moisturizer. Not too thick, but enough!

Simple Hydrating Moisturizer

~Skintimate Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Formula ($2.44): I don’t use shaving cream, but maybe I should? I used to back in the day and then just kind of stopped.  Maybe I will try this and see if I can tell a difference in my legs?

Skintimate Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Formula

~GK Hair Taming System Serum ($20): The information book says that the last product is Tibolli Hair Oil, but it’s really GK serum.  No matter.  I love hair serums and and oils and have never heard of this brand, so I look forward to trying it out!

GK

All totaled I came up with a value of $349.21 for the Allure Beauty Box – Fall Must Haves.  Would I have paid nearly $350 for all this?  Well not at once that’s for sure.  But for $52.99 it was an amazing steal. It will take me ages to use everything up and I certainly feel like I got my money’s worth on this on.

Did you get an Allure Fall Beauty Box?  What’d you think?  What’s your favorite product in the box?  And if you didn’t get one, do you think you’ll try and grab the Winter Allure Box when it’s available (which I think will be in the middle to the end of October)?  I’ll of course update you when it’s available!
