Allure Beauty Box – Fall Must Haves

Oh my goodness, my Fall Allure Beauty Box arrived yesterday!  The Allure Beauty Box is available on a seasonal basis (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall) and includes the seasons most essential products.  Allure has been offering these boxes for ages and I recall getting them long long long before subscription boxes were the in thing.  They send full sized products and it’s probably one of the best, if not the boxes, “bang for your buck boxes”.  It’s $39.99 (but worked out to $52.99 with shipping and taxes) and includes hundreds of dollars worth of products.  The only thing is, it sells out FAST.  It’s one of those things that if you don’t set an alert for, you will miss it.  I think it took *maybe* 20-25 minutes to sell out this season?

The Box

The Allure Beauty Box ships via UPS (and weighed 10bs) and is shipped based on your order number.  My order was #2279, which was probably pretty close to last batch of boxes shipped.  I don’t think they sold more than 2500 – 3000 boxes?

Like I said I haven’t gotten an Allure Box in ages and was kind of just expecting a bunch of products dumped in a box.  But no, this was much fancier.  All of the products were in the individual slots in the cardboard divider.  I had some trouble getting them out though, so I just ended up dumping the box upsidedown.

The Information Booklet

The Allure Beauty Box comes with a fancy information booklet, which lists each product individually and gives details on the product and also lists websites where you can find out more.

~Skintimate Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Formula ($2.44): I don’t use shaving cream, but maybe I should? I used to back in the day and then just kind of stopped.  Maybe I will try this and see if I can tell a difference in my legs?

~GK Hair Taming System Serum ($20): The information book says that the last product is Tibolli Hair Oil, but it’s really GK serum.  No matter.  I love hair serums and and oils and have never heard of this brand, so I look forward to trying it out!

All totaled I came up with a value of $349.21 for the Allure Beauty Box – Fall Must Haves.  Would I have paid nearly $350 for all this?  Well not at once that’s for sure.  But for $52.99 it was an amazing steal. It will take me ages to use everything up and I certainly feel like I got my money’s worth on this on.

Did you get an Allure Fall Beauty Box?  What’d you think?  What’s your favorite product in the box?  And if you didn’t get one, do you think you’ll try and grab the Winter Allure Box when it’s available (which I think will be in the middle to the end of October)?  I’ll of course update you when it’s available!

Spread the love

I have the Hydro Silk Razor, and I love it! The refills are more expensive than the razors I used to buy, but to me, it is so worth it!

  2. Alicia

I can’t believe how amazing this box is! I definitely wanna hop on the train for winter! How do we know when it will be coming out?

  3. Judy

Looks amazing! I wanted this box, but alas I had to work and had no time available to take a break and buy this. I will try again when it becomes available for winter. 🙂

Totally laughing at your comment with the wax strips. C has those random stray hairs on his back too. Only difference is he can’t stand them, so he asks me to pluck them for him.

  4. Kaitlin

I purchased this box (yay for iPhone timers!) thanks to your tip. I agree this box is a huge value box. I feel like such a savvy shopper because I got a great deal. I’m overwhelmed about the amount of products so with the exception of the Burt’s Bees (LOVE that flavor), I haven’t tried anything else yet haha

  5. Angela

Wow! I am for sure regretting not getting this box. So much stuff!

  6. Caitlin

Those hair masks sound AMAZING let me know how the CD one is with having blonde hair and it being dry I need all the help to stop breaking 🙂 I also have the Sally Hansen Nail polish it has amazing wear and such a pretty color!!

    XOXO

Between this box, the Haute look bag, Burt’s Bees grab bag and my usual monthly subs, I think I have enough products to last for about 2 yrs. I’m definitely on a no buy for awhile.

  8. Dawn N

I got a GK Leave-in Spray in the Summer box and loved it! I had not heard of the brand either and need to find out how to buy more.

  9. Jenny

This was my first one and I’m in love. My Sally Polish was a little different. Mine had the glitter in it more like a top coat however my friend just gave me the same one you got which was in her box so I’m thinking I now have a set 🙂 Loving it. I really need to investigate all the other goodies in the box so I try them and use them soon.

  10. Tabitha

I’m totally gonna have to consider the winter box. This box looks great with mostly things I would use. I grabbed the blueberry chocolate Burt’s Bees while I was at Target earlier today. I couldn’t resist after seeing it here.

  11. Shana

Thanks to u, I will be getting the fall bag. This was definately a great deal. Please remind us when the fall one is avail. Saving my money

  12. Stacey

Wow some of these boxes are such good value!!

  13. kelly

The nail strips are awesome and easy if you take your time… oh and and pre-size before taking them off the paper to the nail. If you need to… use the next size up and just file away the excess. I’ve been using the ROC eye cream and the Neutrogena night moisturizer every night since I got the box. I love it!

  14. Crystal D

YES! Please post something when their next box is about to go on sale! I LOVE this and would definitely subscribe!

I mentioned a few posts back (newer) that after 20 years, I was purchasing makeup, skincare and hair products again. For 20 years, I’ve taken care of everyone else and somehow I was put on the “backburner”. Things that I used to like didn’t matter anymore because I had to make sure that everyone else was happy. So typical “empty nest” syndrome when only son enters college, feeling like I’ve lost my job as a Mother, then spend the first school year confused about what steps to take next (of course none of this can take place until after you’re done with crying your eyes out, calling your son a dozen times a day and feeling like there’s no way in the world that this big huge empty spot in your heart will ever fill full again……… trust me, it will, in fact about the time he’s taking his final exams of the year, you realize, oh goodness this year has flown by and what the heck am I going to do with all of my stuff that started to take over his room? It was also about that time, that I took a huge interest in all of the trends and styles that I’ve been missing out on for all of these years. So now to the box: SCORE!!! I told the story above to get to the point in telling how this box was like hitting the jackpot for me, lol! I had my order place within 10 minutes and I was already #1944. Some items, I don’t know what the heck to do with but I suppose I will learn, others I adore and even a few that I am able to pack into my son’s moving back to college bin. So I will say that there’s a lot of bang for the buck here (just hate shipping costs but oh well) and I can’t wait for the next one… mostly, I sure wish I’d known about the others (had to torment myself by watching about them on you tube videos just to see what I missed out on)…

  16. Sarap

I also purchased this box and I can’t believe the value!! I have a few beauty subscriptions (glossybox & ipsy) and this is by far, by far the very best box and value. I can’t wait for winter’s box and plan to purchase every box they sell. It worked out to $2 per product for me and the few I wont use I’ll gift to friends =))

  17. Sarap

Just Fyi this was the fall box. Winter should be on sale in November.

  18. Sara

How do I get an alert for when their box comes out so I can snag one?

  19. Christina

i cant wait to see whats in the winters!!! I’m already trying to stalk to see when the release date is to purchase that one!

  20. Dora J Crow

What I want to know is how is it that by time email hits my box they are already sold out and I am a subscriber. Plus, are people allowed to purchase more than one? I have never been able to buy one. How were y’all so lucky? I had calendar set, alarm & everything and still they were sold out. Maybe one day… Lol. I have script boxes from IPSY & Beauty in a Box so I make out pretty good. Thanks or the great pix & review. I have to once again live vicariously thru you guys! Haha!

  21. Kathleen Engle

how do you sign up for this??? i want, lol

  22. Ashton

Do you know when the Winter box is coming out?? I Need to know!!!!
