Watanut is a new monthly subscription box service which offers a fast, easy way to discover healthy snack options. Watanut boxes include various snack mixes (dried fruits, fresh nuts and various other snack combinations). Boxes contain 4 snacks which total 1.5lbs of snacking goodness.
Watanut ships via USPS Priority Mail and took the promised two days to arrive. Their boxes are totally adorable are one of my new favorites.
Everything was neatly packaged and I was impressed by how large the serving size is. The containers each contain 6oz of snacks and are easily resealable.
Since the snack information is on the snack containers themselves, they don’t have a standard information card. Rather, they tell you a little general information about their products and let you know that a portion of each watanut box goes to help their local Boys & Girls Club. And now onto the snacks!
~Wild Bill’s Buffalo Mix: I tried this first and it is so yummy. It has buffalo peanuts, unsalted peanuts, buttermilk ranch pretzel bites and sunflower seeds. I wouldn’t mind a package of just ranch pretzel bites because those are amazing.
~A Walk in the Woods: I snacked on this a bit last night and plan to try it on yogurt soon. It’s a mix of rolled oats, honey, brazil nuts, cashews, coconut and cinnamon. I’d totally recommend.
~Thru-Hike “good enough to go all the way”: Thru-Hike contains cranberries, roasted almond and roasted & salted cashews. B really likes it and now appreciates how pricey it is to make your own nut mix like this because yeah, nuts are expensive and you’ll get bored with it really quickly.
~The Happy Nut: The Happy Nut is roasted salted pistachios. I haven’t tried them (I don’t really like pistachios), but B says they are good. I
