Once again, I’m totally stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. As always, I don’t even know if she is doing this tonight, but I’m not letting that stop me.
~First things first! L caught a fish! We are up-north for the weekend and the boys went fishing last night! The fish didn’t attach bite on L’s pole, but L was the one to reel him in, so we’re counting it. Go L!!!
~I’m still plotting my trip to IKEA this week (I even brought my catalog up-north) and so far all I have on my for sure list is drawer organizers. Our drawers don’t have them and they are a mess. Something tells me that I won’t just be leaving with drawer organizers though.
~I finally got to watch a few episodes of Naked & Afraid last night and OMG what a great show. I am shocked by how shocked all these people are that it’s hard to be out in the wild naked, left to survive on your own for 21 days.
~My August PopSugar box has shipped(*)! Eeek!! I cannot wait to see what is included in this month’s box. Fingers crossed for a quick arrival this month.
~Word on the street is that the DOD is working to find money to reduce the number of furlough days currently in place. It started at 22, dropped to 14 and then finally finalized at 11. I think tomorrow will be B’s 5th furlough day? While we are making the best of it, enough is enough already and I am hoping that they figure something out before Congress leaves for their 5 week PAID recess. #justsayin
~I stumbled across the Lay’s Cheesy Garlic Bread chips this weekend and had to pick them up. Not bad at all! Better than the Chicken and Waffles ones that’s for sure.
~GAP has 40% sale items AGAIN (with code GAPEXTRA) and I had to place another order today. Last time I bought L some shirts which, according to the reviews, ran big. So I sized up. They do not in fact, run big. No matter, now I have shirts for this year. And next!
That’s it from here! How’s your Sunday?
