Once again, I’m totally stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. As always, I don’t even know if she is doing this tonight, but I’m not letting that stop me.
~I wanted to do something fun this weekend and even considered heading to Niagara Falls for the night, but decided instead to be responsible (aka boring) and get things done around the house. I think we are going to the fair tomorrow, so that should be fun, but it’s no Niagara Falls that’s for sure.
~So earlier tonight B was out front with the boys and all of a sudden the door swings open and B runs inside like a madman. I was like WTF and thought right away someone got hurt. Nope. The ice cream man was coming. Of course, all the boys had to get ice cream. And can someone tell me why the ice cream man only comes before dinner or at like 9pm?
~We stopped by the Apple Store this weekend (B needed some cable or something) and I was this close to buying a new MacBook, but I just couldn’t do it! I’m want the 15″ Pro with Retna Display, but it’s way too expensive, so I am thinking about just getting the Air. Does anyone have one? Thoughts?
~For whatever reason I kind of forgot for a second that we don’t have cable and I won’t be able to watch Breaking Bad until tomorrow night! Boo!! Something tells me it’s SO going to be worth the wait.
~I’m on this crazy Bento box kick and have traded for another blue one (for WB) and a pink/purple one for myself. And I couldn’t be more excited about it. I see a lot of picnics in our future.
~Did anyone else check out the meteor shower last night?? We did and saw a bunch of shooting stars, which L thought was the coolest. It’s going on again tonight too, but it’s cloudy here.
~If you got my weekly Newsletter in your e-mail today and didn’t open it, you should! There’s a newsletter exclusive giveaway in there this week!
I hope you get to go to Niagara Falls soon!! 🙂 I’ve never been there but have heard it’s amazing.
I’m slowly saving for a Macbook Air! I got a cheap Dell.. Its terrible! Once you go Mac you dont go to back!!
I have a Macbook Air, it’s amazing!!! It’s so easy to use!
I just got a 13″ MacBook Pro for going back to school. I was waffling between the retina display and the air as well and decided for budget-sake I forgo the retina display. Also, I chose the Pro due to more storage space and the fact that I wanted a disc drive. It’s a toss-up though. I know I agonized over it for awhile and ultimately went with the basic MacBook Pro because it fit my personal needs best. The boyfriend couldn’t understand why I was so indecisive and I said “wouldn’t you be concerned if it was THAT easy for me to spend that kind of money?” lol
Your ice cream man story was absolutely hilarious!
By the way – My husband and I are addicted to Breaking Bad and tonight’s episode was worth the wait!
Tonight is such a good tv night. Breaking Bad and Big Brother! Sorry you have to wait to watch Breaking Bad. 🙁
Just an FYI – the tweet says PopSugar box giveaway.
i just bought the pro with retina and love it! saved a ton by going on apple website and buying a refurbished one. same warranty was in perfect condition! so happy i went with the retina and faster drive more memory.
We don’t have cable right now either, but we went to our friends’ house to watch Breaking Bad. It was awesome – of course, it’s always awesome, but it ended particularly good for the first episode.
Alas it’s been overcast here every night so not able to see the meteor shower. It’s beautiful and clear during the day with temps in the low 80’s so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
I bought a 13″ MacBook Air last month at Best Buy for $949.99. It is on sale for $1049.99 and I got another $100.00 off for college student discount by giving them the .edu e-mail address (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Global/College-Student-Deals/pcmcat276200050000.c?id=pcmcat276200050000&DCMP=rdr108656). Oh, I love the new MacBook Air — faster processor and longer battery life.
I know you’re already a mac-girl, so i don’t need to tell you how great they are…. My macbook from 2007 was finally becoming a *smidge* too slow for me, so as my “wow, you’ve been breastfeeding for almost a year” gift from my hubby, I got a new MacBook Air! Woo hoo! I’m behind in reading your blog, so I see that you fixed your old computer… but if you ever need a new one, I highly suggest the Air. I was a little nervous about not having a CD/DVD drive, but honestly, that’s where technology is headed – just having jump drives and external drives. Plus, I called, asking about how to put software on my Air, and they sent me a thorough email that explained how to do it by remotely accessing another dvd drive from another computer! sweet!!!
