Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Haribo. I received product samples, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I don’t usually do campaigns like this, but when I heard Smurfs + Haribo gummies, I knew this was for me! Well, us. I loved watching the Smurfs when I was younger and I would love to find some of their old cartoons for L to watch. Does anyone know where I can find these? I was always a fan of Smurfette. L saw the original Smurf movie and has plans to go see Smurfs 2 (it came out on 7/31) after he get home from up-north. L pretty much sees every movie there is, but I KNOW he is excited about the Smurfs. And I just realized it the other night watching Jay Leno that Katy Perry is he voice of Smurfette. That makes me excited to see it too.
While L is excited about the movie itself, I think he’s even more excited about the snacks he gets to take with him when he goes. Of course he won’t get to take ALL of these yummy Haribo smurf gummies, but to have Smurf snacks while watching Smurfs 2 is a big deal! And I will admit it, B and I sampled these gummies and they are delicious. B loves Haribo gummies (he’s even brought back giant bags from Germany where he says they are even better) and when he saw these, his eyes lit up. And a bag was gone in seconds. They are SO good and they are shaped like the various smurfs which of course makes them even more fun.
Are you planning on going to see Smurfs 2? Are you going to make it point to find some Haribo Smurf gummies to take with you? I’d totally recommend it! And while B and L may not like this, I want to share some of my Haribo gummies I received to participate in this campaign with you! I’m going to pick 5 winners and send each winner one bag of Smurf gummies to snack on. All you gotta go is enter in rafflecopter below!
i loved the smurfs when i was younger and my son loved the movie 🙂
FYI there is at least one Smurf old time movie on Netflix. My boys wanted to watch it the other day 🙂
I’m not sure what I want to try from my past boxes. I was keeping the extras in bags under my sink but I recently decided that didn’t work so I got a basket for them and am in the process of putting samples in there so they are more readily accessible. I did try the benetint on my cheeks and liked it ok. I did however get it all over my finger so I need to get a sponge or something and try it that way.
This is in our list of must sees too! How cool yo have Smurf themed snacks!! I used to love watching them every saturday morning!!! U find the coolest things!!!
I bought mine at Plum Market (in Ann Arbor, but I bet they’d have them at the others, too; they always have an extensive Haribo selection!) but I bet that Hiller’s may have them as well.
I haven’t even seen the first Smurfs movie, I should probably do that haha.
I know a lot of people that don’t like to go in Walmart, but that is where you can find some old Smurfs tv movies.
The gummies look great! I love them. Let us know how the movie is. The reviews that I have seen are not great but I usually end up liking movies that don’t get the good reviews.
I love.. I mean we love gummies. I loved watching the cartoons when I was a kid. I haven’t seen the newer movie version. I’m going to have to rent part 1 before we see part 2. I always feel I have to see the movies in order.
I love the smurfs. Random fact: in Hungarian they are
called Hupikek Torpikek.
the gummies!!!
How funny I just watched the first one yesterday. I loved the Smurfs when I was growing up.
Smurf gummies? Yummy!
I loved the smurfs!!! Do you remember the smurf gum that came with tattoos (had to been like 25+ years ago- OMG!)? I totally collected the tattoos- lol!
We watch the old smurf cartoons on Boom Network. I know you don’t have cable, but that is where my son watches them all the time. He likes them better than the new movies.
I loved the smurfs… Always wondered why oh why there is only one female!?
No, not really. They were a bit after my time, but before my children’s time.
I remember watching them on VHS at my neighbors house.
of course! who didnt?
Yes, I watched the Smurfs. It’s one of my very favorite cartoons. And gummy bears are one of my favorite candies!
I loved the Smurfs growing up! I did watch a couple episodes a few years ago and it seemed quite strange to me now…
I did see the first movie, though, for nostalgia’s sake, and I’ll probably see the second!
I love Haribo gummies. My Dad used to buy them for my sister & I when he went on business trips.
Yummy.
I LOVE Haribo gummies!! A freind of mine her mother lives in Germany and she is going to send me a bag of Haribo gummies that you can’t buy here! Now I have to go looking for these Smurf gummies! I have not seen the first movie but we were thinking of seeing this movie at the drive-in as a double feature but the baby got sick, so we will have to see what happens.
I just saw Turbo today and it was so cute! I didn’t even know until the opening sequence that there WAS a Smurfs 2. It looks really fun. I never watched it as a child (because I’m only 21).
I was not allowed to watch The Smurfs, my mom crept up on me watching it one morning and saw Gargamel casting spells over his cauldron and she denounced the show as witchcraft and satanism and I was banned from watching it ever again. I much preferred The Snorks anyway.
Love Haribo gummies, they are our household favorite.
Yes! Totally loved the Smurfs!
I loved the Smurfs when I was little! I also love Haribo gummy candies. They are the best.
Smurfs! Honestly, I’ve never watched a Smurf ANYTHING before–not a tv episode, nor a movie. I am a total Haribo gummy nut, however. I could eat those things all day.
I watched it sometimes and had some figures but it wasn’t my favorite. I was more into MLP and Rainbow Brite. 🙂
I picked up old smurf movies at both walmart and target. I love smurfs too, so much that I bought the complete smurf glass set frim the 80’s (that were sold at Hardees) when I was s kid. bought them at the antique store. wow, that makes me feel old!
I bought Season 1 of the old school cartoons at Target. I’m a Smurf fan. Totally nostalgic for me. My last cats name was Azreal 🙂
Have you tried amazon for old seasons? I have found other things on there like Fraggle Rock and Pinky and the Brain.
I loved the Smurfs when I was little or wait I still do!
Yes I watched; I even have figurines!
I loved the Smurfs growing up!
Of course I watched the Smurfs!!!
Of course I watched Smurfs! I loved them and Jennifer & I collected all the little figurines! 🙂 my kids would so love the gummies, if Nathan lets us have any!
I can’t remember watching the smurfs growing up, but I have seen some of the cartoons. Lovegtummies – probably one of my favorite non-chocolate candies!
Sorry I saw that you had asked the questions after I had posted my comment. To answer the question I did not watch the Smurfs when I was little at that time my folks and the T.V under lock and key. Really! They had an entertainment shelves with doors and a lock.
Love the smurfs but ive watched them more now as a mom than I did as a child!
Who wouldn’t love Smurf gummies?? 🙂
I actually already took one of the little girls I nanny to see it…we loved it so much. I think her sister and her would love these!
I am excited to take the kiddos
I liked the show as a kid, I would go to the movie if my daughter was a bit older, but I think she is still too young for movies. I would certainly eat the gummies though 🙂
I loved the Smurfs when I was a kid. I really liked Brainy Smurf. I thought his glasses were cute. I’m sure those Smurf gummies are smurftastic!
Cheers,
Shauna
I watched the smurfs. I also watched care bears and my little pony as a child growing up in the 80 and 90s!
I loved the smurfs when I was younger!!!
I can’t wait to watch this move on Friday…Kids loved the first one~
Loved Saturday mornings spent watching the Smurfs as a kid. Now I just need to get the toddler away from Thomas the Train long enough to watch the little blue guys to see there are other great shows that don’t involve train tracks!
Yum, gummies! Of course I watched the Smurfs as a kid! We didn’t have cable so Saturday morning cartoons were it for me!
I used to love the smurfs, but I haven’t seen the first movie yet.
Did not watch the Smurfs growing up but we did watch the first movie one night a few months ago. Not something I would have paid to go see but we thought it was cute anyway.
I loved the Smurfs growing up!
My 11 yr old saw the smurfs with his grandma, and I just lo d haribo
Absolutely loved them growing up! My mom still has my Smurf display at her house of all of my Smurf I got out of the Hardee’s kid’s meals. Memories!!!
Loved the Smurfs! I know my kids have seen the old cartoons before and asked what was wrong with the picture! Old school animation just doesn’t cut it!

I love Haribo Gummies!!
I watched my first Smurfs movie just this year only 😛 and after the advertisements on TV, I have planned to watch the 2nd one too he heh
Totally watched The Smurfs growing up. Didn’t everybody?!
I wasn’t really a fan of the new Smurfs movie…not sure I feel about the real action/Smurfy action. My daughter kinda wants to see Smurfs 2…we’ll see I guess.
I always loved smurfette…what little girl didn’t?? 🙂
Yes, we are going to see the smurfs! I have an 8 yr old, and a 3 year old. Not sure if the 3 year old is ready to sit for that long in the dark, in the theater w/out having to get up a 100 times, but we really loved the first movie, and will be going to see the 2nd movie with the 8 year old, and making it a mommy and me date!
I think the Smurfs was a little before my time but good lord I love gummies. 😉
