I wasn’t expecting a package from Googaro this week, but I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t excited about it! In case you haven’t heard of them, Googaro is a monthly care package for babies (up to age 3) which includes 4-5 full-sized mom-approved products tailored to your baby’s age delivered right to your door.
Googaro ships via UPS and is one of the few subscription boxes who does ship with them. Googaro doesn’t send out tracking notifications, however, I get alerts from UPS My Choice which let me know when I package is coming my way. It’s a free service from UPS and anyone can sign up. FedEx has one too (it’s under “Customize My Delivery).
The September Googaro box was quite heavy, which made me even more excited about it. My UPS man (I love him) came super late yesterday, but as soon as he showed up, I snatched that package and ran into the kitchen.
Googaro doesn’t have monthly themes, however, they do have a great information card! Boxes are broken down by 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 years instead of by month. Here’s what the September 1-2 year old box (for WB) included:
~Bright Baby Noisy Trains ($6.99): How in the world is it possible that I do not have this book? Not only do we love books, we love trains. I am rather ashamed about this! The choo choo button on this isn’t super loud like some books, which I am assuming is normal but I’m not quite sure. I’m predicting this will be a new favorite book.
~Cat in the Hat Wet Bag ($10.95): We actually have this same wet bag, but I don’t mind the spare! I love the first one so I love this one too. I need to pack one in my suitcase for out of town trips. I always bring a shower puff in my suitcase and then it’s all wet when I pack to come home and I can’t stand that!
~Hape Color & Shape Sorter ($14.99): This couldn’t be more perfect. We are working on sorting and colors and, of course, WB is all about stacking blocks. And he’s good. I swear he can stack like 10. I’m looking forward to playing with this set this afternoon!
~Butch & Harold Stickers ($8.95): I wasn’t totally sure what these were at first. It turn turns out though, they are just what I need. They are little stickers that let you “frame” a picture and hang it on your fridge, wall, etc. without damaging it. My fridge isn’t magnetic so I can’t display L’s artwork. Now I can!
~Nouri Bar ($3.33): I haven’t tried this bar yet, but I’m pretty sure I got the best flavor of the three. At least it’s the best one for me. I’ve never heard of this brand, but am looking forward to trying it (when I am feeling better(*)).
All totaled I came up with a value of $45.21 for the September Googaro Box!!! I thought this was a great box and found that everything fit our needs perfectly!
Did you get a Googaro box this month? What’d you think? If you are interested in learning more or signing up, click here. Googaro starts at $35/month, but you can use the code “SEPT10” to save $10 off a 3-month or longer subscription. Googaro is also going to be having a giveaway on their Facebook page and are hoping to get 1000 likes by Friday so go like them and then make sure you enter when they post the giveaway!
After reading your August review, I immediately bought a 1-month, and received this box last night. So effing stoked! This has to be the single best kid/baby box ever! I used the code you provided to get the discount. Now I’m considering a full on subscription, but it is just so pricey. Very worth the price, though. I’m literally opening the website, putting it in my cart, then closing the website constantly. I wish there was a better discount out there.
Thanks for the great reviews!
This is definitely a box I want to try, its just a matter of deciding what to cancel!
