As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I “know” Jen, and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).
~I mentioned it yesterday, but L went up-north this weekend so it was just B, WB and I here. Poor WB was forced not only to stroll leisurely around our local outdoor mall (it was so amazing here yesterday), but was also forced to go out to eat at some Asian Fusion place (it was very Pei Wei like but not as good) B and I have been wanting to try. And then, lucky WB got to go to TARGET! I don’t know who was more excited to see L today, us or him ;).
~While at the mall we went in Sur La Table to browse (I love that store) and I realized it was a subscription box lovers dream. They carry so many products I have received in subscription boxes. It’s unreal. We saw: Alaskan Sea Salt (Mantry), Corkcicle (Fancy), Chillsner (Fancy), King Cube Tray (PopSugar), Bodum Mugs (which I picked up for my giveaway) (PopSugar), Sir Kensington’s Ketchup (Bespoke & Mantry), Compagne de Provence Liquid Hand Soap (PopSugar Luxury Edition) and so many more. We were cracking up. And we spent SO long in there!
~I’ve been on the hunt for more silicone cupcake molds for weeks now. I got a few huge ones in the dollar spot at Target, but couldn’t find any normal or mini sized ones anywhere. Why are these so hard to find? I finally had to place an order on Amazon and they arrived yesterday. Lunches this week are going to be even more fun to make.
~So I, oops, I mean L and I have to make a book box which is due tomorrow. It’s supposed to be decorated all cool and you have to carry it back and forth to school from time to time. I bought I plastic box because I feared that a cardboard shoe box would turn into a mess by the end of the year, but now I’m stumped. What do I decorate this thing with? I can’t use markers or crayons. Are stickers my only option?
~Birchbox had an event in NYC this weekend called “Birchbox Local”. It was a Pop-Up Shop and you could build your own Birchbox for $15, get services done, etc.. I was dying to check it out but obviously I live way too far, so my cousin (who lives in the City) went and checked it out for me. She said it was super cute and liked building her box. How fun would be building your own BB be a monthly basis? Come to Detroit Birchbox!!!!
~Has anyone gone to check out the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection yet? What’d you pick up? I totally spaced and forgot it was available today! By the time I checked online the “Tote with Gusset – Black” was sold out ;(. BOO. So we ran to Target and luckily my Target still had some! Woot woot! It reminds me of the Celine Luggage Tote which I have been lusting after for years. I am still debating the yellow mini crossbody. Decisions, decisions.
~I also went crazy yesterday at B&BW. I don’t have a haul picture, but imagine a zillion 3-wick candles (they are $11/each right now) and wallflower bulbs (they were $3/each yesterday). And then I had a 20% off coupon on top of that. I always feel like I robbed the place after I leave B&BW.
~Is anyone else as excited as I am for Breaking Bad tonight? What’s going to happen??? I can’t watch it till tomorrow (#nocable), but I want to know so badly what’s going on that I may have to hunt down some spoilers.

Oh how I love B&BW!!!!! I just bought a bunch of candles this week.
We have the same problem finding those cupcake liners. I just started buying the decorated paper ones; especially since my sweet son finished his meal and throws everything away and I was spending WAY too much time digging in the garbage can looking for my other liners.
I had no idea Sur La Table was a real store. I saw it on an episode of South Park years ago. Huh…the things South Park can teach you 🙂
You should be able to draw on the plastic box with sharpies. I had to decorate a box to carry my nursing supplies in last year and the marker decoration still looks really good on it. 🙂
I totally knew you’d get that bag!!! I went to 2 targets and it seems they sold out of it as soon as it opened, like 300 people were waiting in queue.
oh well I will have to stalk ebay :/ at least I robbed bbw too, I bought 4 medium candles for BOGO.
I adore pumpkin scents, too bad their room sprays are kinda suffocating.
Do not read or watch the spoilers for BB. You will regret that decision later. I know it is hard to wait; I have 30 minutes more to wait and it is killing me but you can wait until tomorrow.
You could get paints, nail polish( reason to get move) micheals has lots of things you can get to glue on.. With kids micheals is the place for crafts. Don’t forget to get the weekly coupons. WB is stating to look more like a toddler now.
hmm I think I need some of those cupcake liners. I just fill his box up with each compartment a different thing but these would be so much more fun. We did venture into taking pasta on Friday and except his cheese melting in the thermos he was happy with it. He does not like when his cheese melts on his pasta. LOL who knew. We have had to get a second drink thermos. He now takes one to lunch and one to recess. I’m sure when it cools down here he won’t need as much but it was really muggy last week and he was a thirsty boy.
I need to go Sur. We just got one at my local mall and I don’t want to take the boys there so it will have to go on my while both boys are in school activities.
Ugh. Was just in NYC and TOTALLY could’ve went to that BB thing! :'(

OMG I went to B&BW on sat and the 3 wick candles were $8, yes $8!!! They said it was a 1 day only thing. So naturally I like lost my mind and bought a TON of candles. Which scent is your favorite for fall? Mine is the pumpkin carmel latte, and the sweet cinnamon pumpkin.
I love the bags you picked out from the Phillip Lim collection! Our local target didn’t get any of the collection (I’m starting to realize this target really sucks, we STILL don’t have halloween decorations!) and when I went to another target they were completely sold out of almost all the handbags!
I went to Birchbox Local on Sunday and it was incredible! I got my hair done, made an awesome Birchbox, and met the founder completely by chance! It was one of the coolest things ever!
Don’t talk to me about Target. Around here you have to be standing in line when the store opens to get any of the designer stuff when it goes on sale. And my Target STILL doesn’t have the Halloween stuff up! (They had one isle done today).
