October Wantable
October Wantable

I hadn’t received a Wantable box in a while and I was missing them, so I went ahead and ordered one earlier in the week.  The October Wantable boxes I’d been seeing looks great and I wanted in on that action!

The Box

Wantable ships via USPS First Class and only took a few days to get to me.  They are in Wisconsin and I am in Michigan, so that likely has a lot to do with the speed of my deliveries from them.

First Look

I always know I am going to like my Wantable boxes and I guess even if I don’t it’s not a huge deal since I can always return them.  But I super happy when I opened up my box to find all these goodies!

The Information Sheet / Preference

Wantable has the most thorough questionnaire of any box out there.  You tell them what products you “Love”, “Like” and “Dislike” and they will send you more of your “Love” items than your “Like” items, but they will never send you any of your “Dislike” items.  You also give color preferences, etc. in your profile.  I included mine above (it’s on the top right hand of the information card) in case anyone was wondering what I picked this month (you can update your profile as needed).

As you can tell, the information card is a printed piece of paper and not heavy card stock or anything because each box is totally customized to you.  I wonder how they select what items you will get?  Is it a computer system?  A person hand selecting? I want to know!

~Darla Makeup Peepers Eyeshadow (Baby Doll) ($18): I have never heard of this brand before, but the packaging won me over before I even opened it to see what was inside.  It’s a perfect color for me and I couldn’t be happier.

~Lise Watier Feline Mascara (Black) ($23): Umm, is this not the coolest tube of mascara you’ve ever seen?  It went on great and will for sure be something I keep in my bag (purse) and not in a drawer because it’s too pretty to be hidden away.

~Lise Watier Light Cap Nail Lacquer (Sapphire) ($13): You know I was thrilled to see nail polish in the box!  Do I need more nail polish?  Not a chance.  Do I want more nail polish?  Of course I do. This color is beyond gorgeous and will be perfect for the holidays.  Love. Love. Love.

~FACE Stockholm Nail Polish #128 ($12): I feel like FACE Stockholm is such a fancy brand (no idea if this is really the case) and and it feels like such a treat to get it in Wantable.  This color is a little darker than my picture shows and it more red than orange.  And of course, I love this one too.

~Three Custom Color Simply Beautiful Cheek Tint ($22): I originally thought I had received this in a prior Wantable box, but I when I went back and searched I couldn’t find it, so I guess not.  I still think I am going to save this as part of a little holiday gift for a friend.  I really need to start organizing what I have been putting away for gifts so I can get an idea of where I am at ;).

~Skiin Instant Skin Tightener & Line Filler (Sample): I’ve never tried (or heard of), this brand, but I’m game to give it a go.

All totaled I came up with a value of $89 for my October Wantable Makeup Box, which is well over twice the cost of the box (I did a one time $40 box, but monthly subscriptions start at $36/month).  Wantable always makes great picks for me and like I said, although you can send your box back for a refund I’ve never even considered it!!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? If not, what are you waiting for?  Click here to subscribe or learn more.
