~We got back from Las Vegas yesterday afternoon and I’m already missing that city! It’s just so magical there. L and I are plotting our next trip there and have already decided we have to get back there soon! I’ll do a full recap on the trip, including what there is to do in Vegas with kids since a few people wondered. My parents (and BIL and SIL) were with us, so they were there to take the kids off to do fun kid activities so B and I could get a little grown-up gambling time in.
~WB, just like on the way to Vegas, did not sleep at all on the plane ride home. However, about 5-10 minutes after we got in the car to drive home, he was out like a light. Really kid? Don’t get me wrong, WB did great (I mean he could have screamed the entire flight), but 4 hours on a plane with a baby is A LOT! Now L? I’d still take him anywhere. He’s a great traveler!
~OMG, so while we were at DTW (the Detroit airport) waiting for the car we saw Dog the Bounty Hunter & Beth and the gang from Dog & Beth on the Hunt!! I saw their big motorcoach and saw the name on it, but it took me a minute to put it together. A few minutes after the bus showed up, out come Dog & Beth. I tried to get B to go take a picture, but he refused. I have so shame, so I went and snapped one. They were filming while at the airport (they even had trucks with cameras on the top following them as they sped away) and I can’t wait to see what they are doing here in the “D”!
~More subscription boxes came in while I was gone than I expected! My goodness! When will I learn? I already have reviews up for Fabletics, Tyler Florence Fancy Box and GLOSSYBOX (+ a giveaway). I still need to get reviews up for Julep, Birchbox Man, Elizabeth & Clarke, BLACKSOCKS, Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box and The Happy Trunk. And I am expecting a few more this week including DottieBox Mini and Carefree Crafts.
~As of now, B is still working (he’s a federal government employee), but obviously no one is quite clear on how long all this shutdown stuff will last, if he’ll get a furlough notice, if / when he’ll get paid, etc. Good times!
~Let’s see, what else? Oh, my eBay buyer who hadn’t paid me and who I was JUST about to file a report on, FINALLY paid and then an hour later demanded to know “WHEN ARE YOU SHIPPING MY ITEM”. Dude really? How about last week when the auction ended.
~Eeek! My other thredUP bag is now “processing” and I should be getting the payout amount in the next day or two. As usual, I am looking forward to seeing what it is!
