I’ve been feeling kinda silly “linking-up” with this kind of love for What I’m Loving Wednesday because she hasn’t posted in months ;(. I do love the post though, so I decided to make my own button for it and if she comes back I’ll ditch it and link back up with her and if she doesn’t, I’ll continue to use it and maybe even make it a link-up of my own.

My Boys! L has been wanting to carve pumpkins since we brought them home and last night we finally did! B was at school and I was kind of dreading doing it alone, but it worked out just fine. L was SO into it and WB was fascinated with his little pumpkin. And L did an amazing job. He cleaned and carved his pumpkin all on his own this year! I do think that he’ll pick a smaller pumpkin next year though ;). I will too actually.

My Paper Address Book. I know, I know. It’s pretty 1995 to have a paper address book. Whatever. I love it. I have been wanting an old school address book basically since the day after I threw my old paper one out. I feel like I am ready to take on birthdays and Christmas cards with ease now. And I went wild and wrote everyone’s names / addresses in pen. No marriages / divorces / moves from here on out people. At least not till I get some white out. If I have this Erin Condren one half as long as I had my old Hallmark one, it will be money well spent.

Baby Velvet. I ordered this on thredUP a week or two ago and *kinda* forgot what was in it until I opened the box the other day. And then it came back to me. A had ordered a velvet blazer for WB. And it’s adorable.

90’s Teen Girls List. OMG. This. I identify fully with these items. I felt like I was taking a ride down memory lane reading these yesterday. CK One? Check. Chunky Shoes? Check. AIM Messenger? Check. Shopping at Merry Go Round? Hard Candy Nail Polish? Jordan Catalano? Check! Check! Check! Why did Sassy Magazine go out of business anyway? That was a sad day.
I’m Loving…..
Teacher Gift Card Printable. Could this be any more perfect? I think not. I know exactly what L’s teach is getting for her end of the year (or even Christmas) gift this year. I have it bookmarked and won’t be rushing around at the last minute this time!

Creative Moms. Thanks to the internet and creative moms everywhere, I can easily go find super cool lunch ideas for L’s Halloween lunch at school tomorrow. I’m going to surprise him with a total Halloween themed lunch and I can’t wait to hear what he thinks!
That’s it from here. What are you loving this week?
Omg that 90s list is hilarious and so true! Love that lunch wish I had thought of it today my daughter doesn’t have school tomorrow.
You can still do a fun at home lunch today!
I adore the idea of a “ghostly” school lunch. I am also going to try the following: bandage a drink box in white duct tape and add googly eyes, then place it in his lunch box for a ghoulish surprise.
😉
Yes! I did those last year for L’s preschool class and they were huge hit. I have the supplies left over too. I am so excited for his lunch tomorrow.
I love the 90s list. Did you read the 80s list? I kindof fall inbetween the two and why did chucky tennis shoes go out of style. I loved mine and shhh but I’m pretty sure there might still be a pair in my closet. LOL I have my addresses written down too. For my wedding I wrote the addresses on index cards and have them in a box. I still use them and just add to them as needed. Everyone knows I keep them too so when they need an address they always hit me up.
Why did those shoes go out of style?? I love the index card idea for addresses. You can easily swap those in and out as people move!
I am loving that Julep shipped with USPS and my box will be here today AND they opened the secret store early! I *may* have a problem 🙂
Mine didn’t come today. Maybe tomorrow though?? Which collection did you get?
I actually still use/have my address book from high school. So many scratch outs and different names/addresses but it works. 🙂
I have that same Target gift card printable on one of my Pinterest boards!
The 90s list was hilarious. Thanks for the laugh!
I still can’t believe I tossed my old one. What was I thinking? Although I am sure I would have ran (run?) out of space by now!
I have a paper, Erin Condren address book too! LOVE it! I can’t do digital when it comes to that stuff!
I can’t even find my phone 1/2 the time!!!
I loved Sassy magazine! I believe Jane Pratt founded it when she was in her early 20’s?? I used to keep every issue. I need to go google her and find out what she does now. Thanks for the reminder!
Let me know when you find out!!!
Holy crap! Caboodles…. Idk if that’s spelt right, but my sisters and all had one, and they were awesome!
Mine was peach. Why did I there that away??
Holy moly, that list brought back memories! Is it sad that our lives have been reduced to a list of cliches? Because if so, I don’t care. I miss my chunky shoes and chokers! Those were good looks. And I still have my Docs. No way I’d give those up after spending my hard-earned tip money from my first waitressing job to buy them! Thanks for sharing the link! Good memories!!
Cheers,
Shauna
I never owned docs! Isn’t that crazy. I did love those chokers though!
