So much going on this month. I’m guessing it’s going to be like this all the way through the holidays though, which is awesome. Here are a few new subscription boxes deals and notes:
~Birchbox: This is old news (it’s from a few days ago anyway), but Birchbox is testing out a new feature. With “Birchbox Plus” you can add-on a must have lifestyle item to your monthly delivery. This month’s item Gold-Hearted to create this Burgundy Zee Rope Necklace which can be added for $20. I’m going to sit this one out, but I love the idea and can’t wait to see what they do in future months.
~Citrus Lane: Word on the street is the coupon code “SHOPCREDITS1” will get you $45 in Citrus Lane credits with a 3-month subscription. You can use Citrus Lane credits to buy “add-ons” for your December box (credits expire 11/30). Add-ons for the November box (which are now closed) included items from Skip Hop, Boon, Hohner Kids, Aden + Anais, Cloud b, etc. and I personally loaded on add-ons for Christmas gifts! Expired.
~GLOSSYBOX: Each GLOSSYBOX this month will include a Emite Makeup Micronized Eyeshadow in Damson Black (as $27 value). GLOSSYBOX is also releasing a Limited Edition box, which is a collaboration with Net-A-Porter.com, on Monday (11/4), so keep an eye out for that one. I’ll post about it when it goes live as well. GLOSSYBOX’s last Limited Edition box, the Best of Britain one sold out FAST, so if you want it, be ready Monday!
~Quarterly Co.: I don’t talk about Quarterly.co a ton because I’ve never actually subscribed to a box, but they are totally on my radar. They have TONS of different contributors, including Bill Nye The Science Guy, Charles Tillman (Chicago Bears Cornerback), Coco (you know, Ice-T’s wife) and Hello Fresh, and you can pick a box / contributor which bets fits you. Boxes generally cost $50 – $100 and are sent quarterly. If you have subscribed to Quarterly Co. which box did you get? What was in it? Tell me everything!

Is the Citrus Lane code for new subscribers only? I just tried to apply it to a 3 month subscription, on my month-to-month sub and it just took off .01. Weird! I just wanna say I love your blog and these frequent coupon code posts you’ve been doing! Yesterday I signed up for Bespoke Post and Fabletics through your links! So thanks! 🙂
I used it on my month-to-month as well. I heard it’s saying invalid on new / gift subscriptions. Hopefully we get out credits!
What fabletics outfit did you snag?
I subscribed to a new quarterly which I thought was a waste of money. I did the first tech and toys box, thinking it would be all electronic gadgets. It basically was a bunch of kids toys. (Air gun, kite, frisbee, etc). It was terrible. I wasted 50 bucks since I don’t really know any kids to give that stuff too. If you subscribe to one I would suggest one thats already sent a few boxes so you can get am idea of what it will contain.
Have you done one of the celebrity curated ones? I am super curious about Quarterly in general. They have SO many options!
No, I only did that one. It was more generic I guess. I have seen some of the unboxings on YouTube. I would suggest that maybe if you are interested in a specific one.
The Citrus Lane code SHOPCREDITS1 is an invalid code. It will not work on a new 3 month subscription or a gift subscription.
I used it when I renewed mine old one last night. It must only work on renewals?? I went and tried it on a new account and you are right, it totally didn’t work!
So can you use your credits to renew your subscription for 3 months and then you get the $45.00? Is that what you did? Where the the $45.00 show up at?
That’s what I did. The $45 hasn’t shown up yet. It says in the fine print that it might take up to 48 hours. We’ll see if it works. I guess it’s coming up expired now??
I just got the hello fresh box from quarterly and I liked it a lot. Not sure if I’ll continue to subscribe since it is so pricey. I’ll totally post a picture of it to your Facebook page so you can see. I’m also getting the Nina Garcia box, I so hope it is awesome. My bank account is gonna cry with all these $100 boxes.
