November Cloud 9 Sample Box
November Cloud 9 Sample Box

Cloud 9 Sample Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a beautifully packaged monthly subscription box filled with a variety of sample products hand selected for their unique, delicious or purely fun qualities. The box is $15.95 plus $5 shipping if you opt for a monthly subscription and prices decrease with the purchase of an annual subscription.

The Package

Cloud 9 Sample Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and boxes are shipped around the 15th of the month.

The Box

To tell you the truth, I had no idea what type of box I was opening when I was doing my unboxing.  I could not for the life of me recall and it was driving me bananas.  I was thinking it was a time of the month box, but for some reason that didn’t seem right.

First Look

When I opened it, I remembered that Cloud 9 was a sample box of goodies that was designed to make you smile.  And if you can’t tell by the picture, everything was packaged beautifully and the shredded paper had fun little gold pieces in it too for some added sparkle.

The Information Card

The November Cloud 9 Sample Box didn’t have a theme, but I thought that the items selected had a nice fall feeling to them.  Here is what I received:

~HerbNZest: Carmelized Apple Champagne Mustard ($3.75): I do not like mustard, so my opinion on this would be of no use to anyone.  I am planning on putting it out as a pretzel dip for the holidays or having B put it in a recipe (I will never know it’s in there).  This line is vegan and gluten-free and was founded by Deboleena Dutta.

~Lake Champlain Chocolates ($2.16):  Totally delicious! It’s rare that I find a chocolate that I don’t like, but this was good.  And a nice treat on a freezing cold afternoon.

Lake Champlain Chocolates

~Indulge Caramels ($1): The only bad thing about this box is that there was only one of these ;).  It was delicious.

Indulge Caramels

~Acure Organics Shampoo & Conditioner ($5): I received this in a box in the Spring and OMG I loved it. I was thrilled when I saw it here.  It smells amazing and works pretty darn good.  Totally love these!

Acure Organics Shampoo & Conditioner

~Chic Peek Coupon ($15): This coupon gets you any item with the monthly subscription (you can cancel anytime) for $15 or $15 off any item they sell without the subscription. I reviewed Chic Peek a few months ago and really liked what I received (you get to pick your item) so I will probably do this again.  I don’t think I can go wrong for half off!

Chic Peek Coupon

All totaled I came up with a value of $26.91 for the November Cloud 9 Sample Box.  That includes the $15 value of the gift card, but not any shipping costs.  I really enjoyed this month’s box and would be anxious to see what they do in the future and how the values of the boxes are if they don’t have a coupon code in them.
