Oh My Green! (OMG!), who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of 5 full-sized and seasonal snacks. The company promises that boxes will include a large variety of known and independent brands and that snacks will be healthy organic and/or non-GMO.  For each box sold, they also donate a meal to a child in need.

The Box

Oh My Green! ships via USPS Priority Mail and it took the standard two days to arrive. I don’t know if OMG! always ships in this size box, but OMG (pun intended), it was a big box!

First Look

Happily, the box was packed full of goodies.  A few things I recognized and a few I didn’t, so I was excited to dig in and see what goodies were included.

The Information Card

OMG! has a great information card. It includes products and prices and why they selected the items that they did for the box.  Here is what the November box included:

~TCHO Mokaccino ($7):  Umm, yeah, this is amazing.  It really was like drinking coffee in a chocolate bar.  So good!  I wouldn’t have just randomly picked up a $7 chocolate bar at the store, but I would for sure grab this again.  And it’d be awesome with a fun mug, a pair of cozy socks and some hot cocoa to give to a find for the holidays.

~Alive & Radiant Kale Krunch ($5.99):  Every time I receive Kale in a box I try it thinking that I am going to talk myself into liking it.  But I just can’t, so this time I didn’t open it and plan to find a kale loving friend and pass it along!

~Dang Toasted Coconut Chips ($2.75): I have gotten these in various boxes and enjoy them.  Not my favorite snack, but they are good.  I am still hoping to try some of the other flavors they have though.

~Sunfood Raw Cashews & Berry Mix ($8):  Ohh, I have never heard of this brand before, but I thought both of the snacks were great.  If I ran into these at my local store, I would totally buy more.

~Boom Chick A Pop Sea Salt Popcorn ($3.99): I love this popcorn and was thrilled to see this giant bag of it in the box.  It was seriously half the box.  This is another one that if you like popcorn and haven’t tried it yet you should.

~Tea Tibet Tea: This is a not for profit tea company which was started as a means to benefit existing charitable organizations helping to educate Tibetan students. And like with all tea I have been receiving lately, it’s headed off to my cousin’s house.

All totaled I came up with a value of $27.72 for the November Oh My Green! box.  Not an incredible value per se, however, it does exceed the cost of the subscription (which is $24.88/month) as promised.  If you live in an area where you don’t have access to speciality health food stores or just want to try some new healthy snacks you may not have known about otherwise, this might be something to check out.

Yeah, the Dang coconut chip people have been making the rounds of all of the boxes, haven’t they?

Totally!! I want them to throw some different flavors in!

I got some of those Dang coconut flakes in a box too and didn’t care to eat them plain either. I just chopped em up a bit and added them to some chocolate chip cookies and they turned out pretty good 🙂

That is one kale that is good. The cheese makes it eatable

I have tried the coconut chip and it’s great! How long did it take for your box to arrive? Also the company is giving me a 10% discount with the promo: 10a++

It was a review box, but I don’t think it took too long. Just a few days!
