This week I am saying So What If….
~I am oddly excited about Miss Universe this weekend.
~I am thinking about doing a holiday blog redesign. I want something new, but not a permanent change.
~My mom and I are headed to another Target this morning. And so what if I think a trip to a far away Target and Build-A-Bear in the same day is a big event ;).
~I’m ready to start watching Christmas movies and listening to holiday songs. Tis the season. #superearly #dontcare
~I want to get rid of half (okay 3/4) of the kids Halloween candy. What are we going to do with all this candy???
~I just realized that L’s school has an awesome newsletter / calendar on their website. Where have I been?
~I dropped my phone AGAIN the other day. No worries though. This is just a hair fracture and will not require iPhone surgery.
~I was super excited to see that my November PopSugar box shipped yesterday.
~I had to google to see if I was suppose to vote yesterday. I wasn’t. Good thing or I would have clearly been an uninformed voter.
~I am oddly proud of Amber for getting her GED while in prison.

If you want to get rid of some of your kids Halloween candy you can actually give it to your local soup kitchen. It’s always a big hit! When I was working at one last week we had buckets of people’s candy and just kept handing it out with dessert. They really liked it so we are going to be bringing more next time (maybe I should do a Target haul for them myself!)

Ns teacher posts to her site every Monday and sometimes on Thursdays. I can’t seem to get it in a reader though so I need to go and check it all the time. I’ve pinned it to my new tabs so when I open a new one I see it and click. LOL She puts so much info there I really need to be ontop of it. Speaking of I should go and look before I leave.
I knew about the teacher’s one (she sends home a weekly copy too), but I didn’t know about the school one!
I’ve heard that you can donate candy to the Ronald McDonald house for sick kids. I’ve also heard of a program where you donate and it is sent to soldiers in Afghanistan. I have no idea how you would do that but it sounds really cool and would be a great way to get that candy out of the house while brightening a soldiers day!

I love popsugar but it said there was a billing error for my November box. I tried to fix it with multiple cards and all have $ on them and it kept saying error. I emailed them a long message. I want my November box! I’ll be super sad and super jealous. Lol first world problem I know. 🙂 I’m glad yours shipped already! I love your reviews.

We already got rid of our extra Halloween candy. Check to see if any dentist offices or other organizations are accepting candy donations. We took ours to Noodles & Company over the weekend during a candy swap. All the candy gets shipped to troops.

I don’t know! There actually weren’t too many elections around here in general yesterday. Not too much going on this year!
I am way ahead of you on the holiday cheer thing. I’ve been watching Christmas movies on Hallmark for the last 3 or 4 days. I asked my boyfriend if we could put the tree up this weekend. He was slightly offended. Hahaha. I’m ready for the holidays now, please!
My 5 year-old asked me son the way home yesterday if we could go home and start putting up the outdoor lights!!!
You should use the candy and make cookies or blondie bars or something with it chopped up and mixed in ! Or do a facebook giveaway with a few winners and send them the candy ha

I am so excited for Amber too! I really hope this is the start of a good life for her. Since I watched 16 and pregnant (my guilty pleasure) I always felt bad for her. She did not seem to have a support system around her. I wish her well!
I snarked on Amber my fair share, but I am team amber now. She seems like she’s matured.
