Ahh, my December Lip Factory, who kindly sends me monthly boxes to review, arrived yesterday! My brother was here yesterday when the mail came and was totally amused that I got my own mail bin from the mail lady. I think he found the unboxing process just as entertaining as my mom did when she was here earlier in the week.
Anyway, in case you aren’t familiar, Lip Factory Inc is an exclusive, affordable, makeup subscription service. Most months Lip Factory sends a mixture of cosmetic products, but every four months they do their “All About the Lips” box. The last one was in November, so the next one should be in March.
Lip Factory ships USPS First Class Mail and took about 4 days to arrive. I believe they ship in batches, however, I am not exactly sure how that works.
Lip Factory ships a box in a box. I’m never quite sure why, but I’ve been thinking about it and I am going with because it gives them a more secure package. Less possibility of damaged products?
Oooooh, I was totally digging this first look. I didn’t have time to search for spoilers so I didn’t know what they were planning this month. The first look had me very excited!
I’m not sure exactly what the theme for the December Lip Factory box was, maybe Happy Holidays? But, as always, they have a fabulous information card with product information, prices and pictures. Here is what I received:
~MeMeMe Boho Balm Lip & Cheek Tint ($10.34): Ohh, a combination lip and cheek tint? I love it! It’s got two colors (both of which work for me) and I am totally happy with this one!
~PreCeuticals Pumpkin Enzyme Cleanse ($3): I consider this more of an extra little bonus item, but it’s a welcome one. I have tried a few things from this line and have been happy with the results.
~Michael Marcus Plump Lip Plumper ($20): I right away thought that this was a regular lipstick and then realized that no, it was a lip plumper, which for me was way better! I’m not a huge fan if the smell (it’s minty), but it made my lips nice and shiny and soft (not sure about the plumping yet).
~NCLA Nail Lacquer (Prized Possessions) ($16): Totally totally love. This is a gorgeous sparkly dark blue and they are right, it will become one of my prized possessions. LOL! The information card has a picture of a beautiful green color (Emerald Bay) and I am curious to see what else they sent out! I think I would have been happy with anything from the “BLVCK MVRKET” collection which is what I am guessing was included?
~essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara ($2.99): I don’t use a brow gel (although maybe some days I should), but I am certainly going to use it on my lashes when I don’t really want color but want something.
~JCat Fab Five Eye Shadow Palette ($4.99): I could probably start my own eye shadow store at this point, but I think these colors are awesome! Totally perfect for me and I am going to have trouble passing these on to someone else, but seriously I have so much shadow “in waiting” already!
All totaled I came up with a value of $61.32 for the December Lip Factory Beauty Kit! I think this was probably my favorite Lip Factory box ever! I loved the combination of items and that polish and cheek / lip tint? Totally made the box for me. Everything else was seriously just a bonus! The box is only $22/month ($26/month if you are in Canada), and as usual, is amazing value.

Box arrived today. Yay, I got the same colors for nail and eye. LOVE the polish; it’s so beautiful. The minimal purple flecks make me think of mardi gras.

Wow! I can’t wait for my box! I hope I get everything you got – the exact shades! Not sure my lips need plumping, but I can use it as a gloss or balm, maybe. I thought the November and June boxes were the best but this one hits it out of the park!

I received my box and was impressed. I also received a bonus lipstick! It wasn’t on the card so not sure if it was by accident or not, but instead of 6 items i received 7!

Its Christmas and I’m STILL waiting for my lip factory box! I’ve tried numerous times to get on their website and have had no luck!! What the heck is going on this month? Any one else having issues besides me?
I wonder what’s up? Have you gotten a tracking? Has anyone says anything in the forums at makeup talk? I know there is a lip factory thread there.
