I have always loved driving around on a snowy night looking at the Christmas lights. And then I moved to Miami in September. I actually laugh a little when I see the decorations because it’s so strange seeing Christmas and palm trees.

My fav winter activity used to be driving to the bar in a snowstorm, now that I have a daughter it’s cuddling on the couch with her watching caillou
I love when my family and I travel up to Kansas City after Christmas and I walk around The Plaza in the cold wrapped up with a scarf and a Caramel Apple Cider from Starbucks while the Plaza is lit up bright with lights.

My favorite winter activity is snuggling with my kids. We have had a fireplace for years, and never really appreciated it. Now, cold in Wisconsin, we are using it more. I’m convinced every year I’ll find some outdoor skiing/sledding/snowmobiling activity that makes us all want to be outdoors, but it can be so cold. It’s not so much of the cold that I cannot handle, it’s the bitter wind that bites!
Did you ever find matching pj’s for your family? I think you had mentioned it a while back. I was inspired and just did an old navy purchase, everyone is getting a fresh pj for this holiday! The pictures will be so cute. I even got a set for the grandma and grandpa who are coming to visit for the holiday. Fun right?! My kind of activity.
I got Hanna Andersson ones last (?) year. I think that’s the last time I was looking! I do love fresh pjs for the holidays!

My favorite winter activity is snowshoeing, but lately I have also enjoyed driving around the block in the evenings after picking my son up from daycare to look at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. He just yells “Light! Light!” and “Wow!” it is amazing 🙂

We live in Mississippi and don’t have much winter around here. I’d have to say that I guess my favorite winter activity is when it gets cold enough to sit outside on the porch wrapped in a blanket and drinking hot chocolate. We never get snow 🙁 We mostly just get lots of rain. bleh.

My favorite winter activity is going home to MI for Xmas. My husband and I get a week and a half of festive snow time, then get to head back to Seattle where it will be 45 F and drizzly. You don’t have to shovel rain, and I love that!

I have a few favorite winter activities: sledding, ice skating, and snow shoeing top the list. Snuggling the boys by the fire watching movies is another one! Oh yeah… and I NEED those slipper boots. ADORABLE!!!!

My favorite winter activity (as of this year) is the tree lighting at our library. There are carolers (local high school group), hot chocolate and doughnuts and horse-drawn wagon rides. The holiday parade is the next morning. My husband, son and I love it!
My fav part is when the entire family is around the fire place or well lit Christmas Tree with hot choc, warm pastries and wine. Talking, laughing, gossiping, teasing and the kids running amok in the Christmas PJs.
