December Cannabox Review
The Box

Cannabox, who kindly sent me this box to review, includes 5-7 hand-picked, of the latest and greatest Cannabis-related accessories and novelties. Items like rolling papers, cigar wraps, t-shirts, books, and accessories are what you can expect to find in your box.

I am going to treat this review like I do with my “Adult” ones and spoiler the rest of it, so if this isn’t something you are interested in or don’t want this on your screen at work (although it’s nothing too crazy), you don’t have too.

Cannabox ships via USPS First Class mail around the 20th of the month. My box came around the 23rd, so not too long at all for shipping. Cannabox is located in California, just in case you were wondering.  I thought maybe they’d be in Colorado because of their new laws, but that’s not the case.

First Look

I really had no idea what to expect from this box, but I know a lot of people were quite interested in it when I posted about it. So when the folks over at Cannabox asked if I’d like to review one, I had to say yes. This isn’t my wheelhouse, but neither are tea boxes and I am happy to review those so people can see what’s in the box.

Second First Look

B was around when I opened the box and we both were reached right away for the information card.  We had no idea.

The Information Card

Thankfully, Cannabox comes with an information card.  I think that if you subscribe or if it’s something you are interested in, you probably know what most of these items are for (yes? no?), but I had no idea.  B didn’t either.  I should also mention that the items in the box encourage the use of legal smoking herbs and also only allow those 18+ years of age to access their website.  Here is what was included:

~Vanilla ICE Superfine Rolling Papers by Juicy Jay ($2.58):  These “superfine papers from Juice Jay’s combine the awesome flavor or vanilla ice cream with a modern ultra-thin paper”.  Ice cream?  Really?  Someone in CO try this and get back with me.

~Double Platinum ZERO Cigar Wraps ($1.92): B likes cigars , but I don’t know that he has ever tried to wrap his own.

~Mini 4 Piece Stainless Grinder ($13.95): Even after taking this all apart, B and I still stared at it like what?    The card describes it as a “single-stage herb grinder with an integrated screen and keep catcher”.  What’s that mean?  Amazon reviewers seem to like it well enough and they are a tough crowd (and some of the reviews people write on there are so funny), so I’d take that as a good sign.

~DOPE Cuff Winter Cap by DOPE Couture ($9.40): I kind of like this hat! I could totally see B wearing it too.  Hopefully people would read it as “this is a dope hat” instead of thinking about it the other way.  LOL!

~ICEDREAM Peppermint Clear Organic Cones ($1): Listen I had to I read the card on this and search online before I finally figured out that these are cigar wraps, only not for cigars.

~MedLighter Isobutane Lighter ($2.44):  This wasn’t on the card, but the box also came with a lighter

All totaled I came up with a value of $31.29 for the December Cannabox. Boxes start at $22.83/month and membership is restricted to those who are 18+ years of age.[/spoiler]

I found this box super amusing!

You can use rolling papers for tobacco (like you would use the cigar papers to roll your own cigars). So if B is interested in rolling his own, he can still use those legally! LOL

The grinder… break apart chunks of…. erm, tobacco to make it easier to roll. 🙂

    What a funny sub box.

    1. Jennifer

BAHAHA! I should have had you do a “consult” on this one ;).

I think this just proves that there is a subscription box for EVERYTHING!

  2. Allie

I found this to be quite an interesting review from a suburban stay-at-home mom who sells tupperware!

    1. Jennifer

Hey it is a subscription box!!

  3. patty

This. Is. Hilarious. You should have saved this for April fool’s! Dying to know if you get a lot of referrals.

    1. Jennifer

Ha! It’s for real! They don’t have a referral program (not that I’d know what to do with the boxes if they did) but I know they will get lot of clicks! These and the adult ones always do!

  4. Sue

You have got to be kidding me! I thought I had seen it all!

    1. Jennifer

Lol! I should do a post on some of the more unique subscription boxes out there like this one.

  5. Jenny

OMG this is hysterical. I still have no idea what half those items are and not sure I really need to. LOL The hat is very cute though and you can always use a lighter around the house.

    1. Jennifer

I was googling and was still like what?? But the hat is dope. Lol!

  6. LOL I think it’s funny that you *don’t* know what these things are.

Obviously you didn’t grow up in the Florida panhandle.

    1. Jennifer

Lol!! I should have consulted you as well! I’m sure some of my friends know!

  7. alyssa

Sadly I think my brother would know how to use everything in the box. And apparently according to so people I should too since even complete strangers assume I’m on medical weed when they hear I have glaucoma they don’t seem to understand it’s only used for the pain due to glaucoma related migraines from high pressures. But that’s a ‘dope’ box right there lmao

    1. Jennifer

      Lol!!!

  8. Aimee V

Lol… This box brought back a lot of HIGHschool memories! Surprised they didn’t throw some snacks in there too! Lmao!

    1. Jennifer

      Ha!!!

  9. Lauren

Lol of course this box interested my husband ! Lol do you have any coupon codes ?

    1. Jennifer

      LOL!! I don’t know of any ;(

  10. Chrissy

I’ve been getting this one for about 3 months now and it’s really awesome. I was surprised when you posted it on the sub list last month and even more shocked when I saw a review! I always wondered about the value and tried to do a rough estimate, so this helped me get a better idea. Thanks!

    1. Jennifer

I only just heard about it last month! You should have clued me in!

  11. Lauren

NO WAY! I was just telling my husband literally 10 minutes before seeing this that we needed to make a pot themed subscription box since we live in Colorado, hahaha! I don’t smoke it myself but I figured I could make big bucks out here! 😉

    1. Jennifer

      LOL!!!!!

  12. Michelle

You are too funny! I was laughing so much reading this review. Thank you for being so open minded and reviewing such a variety of boxes! I will be ordering this box but shhhhhh don’t tell!

    1. Jennifer

      I won’t tell!

  13. Jacqueline

You are so non judgmental and that is part of why I love your blog, even as a single student!!!! FYI, that grinder is so that you can grind up the leaves into a more easily smoked powdery-ness. And the screen catches the good stuff that would fall into the bottom. So funny I just love that you posted this!

    1. Jennifer

Awww, thanks! LOL “the good stuff”!

  14. LOL I am sure that most of the population of Vermont knows. I was actually in a head store the other day here. Because it’s right there in the middle of town. It’s not like it’s a big town. It was hilarious. We have a bunch of them at home – it’s a tourist town and everyone loves fancy legal tobacco use while they are on spring break. 🙂

  15. carol

The ” good stuff ” the poster was talking about mean that the most flavorful part will fall thru the screen to make for a smoother smoke. It also will make sure any seeds or hard pieces don’t get into your stuff. LOL

kief a reconditioning the term kif or a mostly european used mixture of the pollen of marijuana, the main ingredient in hash or hash oil, and tobacco. A keef catch is for catching the pollen or most potent part of the plant matter. Kief = vodka, bud/nuggets/ or flower is like beer. Kief, kif, or keef is, in the western hemisphere, the pollen of the flower.
