~Happy Monday! Let’s see, where to begin. Let’s start with our weekend. B had drill (National Guard) so he was gone all weekend (well during the day anyway) leaving the little boys and I to entertain ourselves. And boy, did we ever! Saturday we hit up the lego store (for L) and Build-A-Bear (for WB) and went out to lunch with my mom. We don’t make it to this mall often (I used to when I worked because it was 5 minutes from my office which was amazing), but L loves it. It has a walkway that connects the two sides of the mall which are on either side of the street with moving sidewalks that he thinks is just amazing. After cleaning up at the lego store, we headed over to Build-A-Bear to build something for WB. I left L in charge and think that the dog (named puppy) in the fireman suit (WB’s room is fire trucks) was a great pick! Sunday was spent building legos, playing trains and catching up on chores around the house (well that is what I did Sunday). A good weekend all around!
~Ahhh, let’s talk about the Golden Globes! Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were fabulous. Those two should host it every year. I laughed out loud quite a few times. And I was so excited when Amy Poehler won! I just love Jennifer Lawrence in general, but I wasn’t feeling her dress this year. Jacqueline Bisset? What in the? Open bar or just in shock from winning? Not sure. My favorite dresses were Margot Robbie and Lupita Nyong’o and my least favorite? Gosh there were so many. I wasn’t loving Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock or Paula Patton that’s for sure. I think the Golden Globes is my favorite of all the awards shows. I love watching everyone get up and chat during breaks!
~I am hoping that it’s a busier week around here subscription box wise. I am expecting to receive Birchbox, Citrus Lane, Plated, ipsy (our Glam rooms are updated!), Fabletics, Montubox, PopSugar (hoping for spoilers today or tomorrow) and a few more that are slipping my mind.
~Oh I don’t know if I mentioned it, but Birchbox has paired up with US Weekly for February and is doing a “Step and Repeat” themed box! ~I got my Essentials Bundle from Honest Co. over the weekend and the cleaning supplies were frozen solid! They thawed out nicely though and I am assuming that they will be totally fine to use right?
~If you are in the Metro Detroit area and thinking about some personal pictures for your Valentine, totally check out my friends (I went to high school with these ladies) at Capture A Moment Photography! They have kids mini Valentine’s Day shoots if that’s more your thing and I am planning on scheduling one for my boys. Any outfit ideas for them? I did red and white ties for Christmas, so I need to branch out. Help!!
~My mom and I are making our Valentine’s ribbon wreaths today!! I am super excited to see how they turn out and have my fingers crossed it works out well. We picked some cute ribbons to use, so I don’t see why it shouldn’t. I will post a finished product to Instagram!
~The new Socialbliss Style Box won the “What Box Should I Try Next” poll and Iam happy to report it’s been ordered! I hear that it ships later in the month and I am ready! Quarterly Co. came in a pretty close second, so I think they will be next on my list.

Ahhh! lol. I get my Honest Company Essentials box toward the end of the month. I don’t think it’ll be cold enough here to freeze cleaning products…..but it might be.
I also should be getting my very first ipsy glam bag sometime this week or so. They ship from NC and I live in NC. So, I figure I should get mine pretty quickly. I’m pretty excited about that.
ipsy’s shipping is SO weird! I wouldn’t be surprised if your bag leaves NC and goes to KY before you get it!!! Did you look at your glam room? What are you getting???
I went to the ipsy page and got asked to review products on the first page. Is that suppose to be what I’m getting? This is my first one. I don’t really know how it works. lol.

Ah. ok. Hm. Nothing I’m to excited about. I may need to retool my quiz answers. I’d of loved to get the Benefit Porefessional that some people are getting. I’ve wanted to try that for ages.
Looks like what I’m actually getting is: Elizabeth Mott smooth shadow, Nourish Organic face lotion, LeAnni Revolotion, MicaBeauty Tinted lipbalm (I might actually like this….lipbalm and lipgloss are one of three make-up products that I wear most days) and a Sexy Hair Leave in Conditioner (this has wheat in it….technically wheat in my hair probably won’t hurt me but I don’t like to risk it so definitely won’t use this).
I do love that Porefessional! Maybe you’ll get it in a future ipsy though!
My honest bundle was frozen solid also! Actually my window cleaner cracked and it was everywhere. I called and they were very nice and are sending me a new cleaner and said everything else was fine to use after it thawed and so far has been.
I think it will all be okay too. I couldn’t believe how frozen it was!!

I go to that mall you speak of quite often too. I used to have lunch there regularly as well when I worked down the street:) Have since left to raise my triplets but I love that mall. I missed the beginning of the Golden Globes (best part, Red Carpet) because we spent the day at the amazing outlet mall just up the freeway with friends and family. Followed up with watching Frozen for the second time. My kids love that movie!
Ahh! I love that mall! I loved getting those salads from the food court for lunch! Have you been in that area lately? SO much new stuff!!!
I get there about once a quarter now, there is so much wonderful shopping in this area you just have to spread the love 😉

Me and my boyfriend went to see Frozen (I got free tickets from Disney Rewards from some kind of promotion they were doing)….by ourselves. We don’t have kids. lol. We both loved it and we weren’t even the only adults in there without kids. lol.
I heard it was super good!
It is. I expect it will follow up it’s Golden Globe win with an Oscar win.
Didn’t get home until late so totally missed the GG’s. I did not like Jennifer Lawrences dress at all and it’s showing up on so many “best” lists. Ugh. Will have to watch Fashion Police to night to see what they think.
I didn’t love it. Maybe if it were tighter? I don’t know??
