I’ve been feeling kinda silly “linking-up” with this kind of love for What I’m Loving Wednesday because she doesn’t do it on a regular basis anymore;(. I do love the post though, so I decided to make my own button for it and if she comes back I’ll ditch it and link back up with her and if she doesn’t, I’ll continue to use it and maybe even make it a link-up of my own.

Unexpected Finds. Randomly at Target yesterday, B (yep, he found them) stumbled these superhero tins. They have men’s boxers in them which we will likely donate, but aren’t the tins adorable? They open up to store treasures in and are perfect for L’s room. They were “only” like 30 or 40% off or something (they aren’t part of my beloved Christmas clearance), but I am going to try and pick up a few other ones when they get marked down further.

The Brothers. L got home yesterday when WB was napping so when we heard him get up, L came into his room to get him with me. OMG WB was so excited to see him! And they spent the rest of the afternoon playing together and laughing. Love it.

Fabulous Gifts. Umm, how amazing are these coasters? My cousin (thanks again Meagan!) made them for me for Christmas and I am in love. B is trying to steal one from me to take to work and I just don’t know about that. Love love love. I need to get her to tell me exactly what she did to make these because honestly they are like professional quality. She made a mug for my aunt which I would have sworn was store bought (in a good way). So creative!
I’m Loving…..
Baxter and Buddy. These guys kept me company when B was in Wisconsin and L was up-north those few days. I mean WB was here too, but he goes to bed early and then it gets boring and scary when your toilet is randomly flushing. Thank goodness for these guys.

Chicken Lemon Rice Soup. Tell me, can you get a cup of this soup in other parts of the country? Or is this strictly a Michigan thing that you can get at Coney Islands? If you ever come across it, order it because it’s amazing. And there is a drive through Coney Island sort of near me which WB and I ran to the other night. Warm soup on a cold night without getting out of your car is even better ;).

Michigan State Spartans! My Spartans are playing in the Rose Bowl today and my blood pressure is rising just thinking about it. The Big Ten needs some bowl game wins and I am hoping MSU is just the team to do it. GO GREEN!!!!!!!
That’s it from here. What are you loving this week?
We saw those boxers too. Hubby actually got the Star Wars ones. He says he’ll wear the boxers and let N have the tin.
B would have worn them had they been boxer briefs I am sure. I hope they get marked down more soon!
When you find out how to make those coasters you will have to let me know. They would make perfect presents for the grandparents!
They totally would!
Oh my gosh, I totally love those superhero tins! Were they in the men’s section? I finally hit my Target and it was a bit of a mess, as some things were 30% off, some 50%, and some 70%. I ran everything through the price scanner and hid a few items for the next visit, hopefully at 90% off. Yeah, I’m one of those. *L*
Happy New Year to you and the boys, the furries too!
They were in the Men’s section. Like on a table display thing!
those coasters ARE adorable. I made some at a pinterest party last year. We took tile and fastened cork to the bottom. Then we modge podged our picture onto the tile. Once the modge podge had dried, we covered the entire top with something called liquid diamond that they carry at just about any craft store. they turned out great!
Did you just use regular printed pictures?
I am loving the purple sparkly polish that came in one of my boxes last month! I think it was the ipsy box? It’s by Julie and it is so perfect! It even covered in one coat and that never happens for me.
I hope I get that eventually! It looked great!
Those coasters are awesome! I find I can always use more coasters, and how fun that these are personalized!
I am putting them in my office. I was so excited about them!
Your boys are so stinking sweet it almost makes me want another so I can have sweet siblings too! And then I remember my daughter is kind of a holy terror, hahaha. If how she fights with the dog is anything like how she’d be with a little brother or sister- NO THANK! 😉
LOL No! She’d be sweet!!! My little guy is a tad rough with the digs too.
Hi! I wanted to give you the heads up on chicken lemon rice soup — this is something you can almost always find at Greek restaurants! It is known as avgolemono (hope I’m spelling it correctly). Happy new year!
I didn’t know that! Thank
You!
