February 2014 Bestowed Box

Bestowed, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box that offers 5+ amazing nutrition and lifestyle products delivered to your door every month – each one hand picked by celebrity nutritionist and author Heather Bauer. It’s $19$20/month and delivers around the 15th of the month.

The Box

Bestowed Box ships via FedEx Smart Post this month and took just a few days to arrive.  I was actually shocked at how quickly it arrived for being a SmartPost item.

First Look

I didn’t recognize anything in the box from the first glance, which always has me excited.   I was telling B today just how fun opening up all these boxes is and how lucky I feel to get to review them all.  I kid you not, I am excited to crack into every single box I receive.

The Information Book

Bestowed doesn’t have an information card, they have an information book!  It’s got product information, details on why they love it, where to buy it, etc.  It even has recipes and tips on how to use the products.  The February 2014 Bestowed Box is full of products that will help you find job in healthy eating and living.  Here is what box included:

~Herbal Philosophy Feel Beautiful Tea: Of course you can drink this, but Bestowed also suggests using it as a facial steam and toner.  I think I may just do that since we all know I won’t be drinking this.

~Bakery on Main Carrot Cake Oatmeal Individual Packets: I still have not talked myself into liking oatmeal for breakfast, however, I totally can see myself mixing this in with pancakes or a smoothie in the morning.

~Funley’s Wholly Granolly Clusters Peanut Butter Pretzel and Double Chocolate Chip:  I loved these.  I thought they were delicious and I think this plus a banana or yogurt is a totally doable breakfast for me (or L for that matter).  I am planning on getting more of these for sure.

~R.W.Garcia MixtBag Yellow & Blue Corn Tortilla Chips: I thought these were good, not amazing, but good. I don’t know that I would go out of my way to grab these, but perhaps if I were looking for a gluten-free, wheat-free option I might.

~Santa Barbara Bar Coconut Almond Bar: I wasn’t a huge fan of this one, but in all fairness, I am also not a huge fan of coconut.  The peanut chocolate cherry flavor they have would have been more for me I bet.

~UNREAL Smooth Ones – Chocolate Caramel Nougat: If you have never had any “UNREAL” candy, I would certainly recommend them.  I have tried various items from this brand, but B never had until these.  He was super impressed and must have told me how good it was half dozen times!  And it really is good!

I didn’t do a cost breakdown for February 2014 the Bestowed Box (I rarely do with food ones), but I certainly enjoyed trying and leaning about these new products.  And right now (thru 3/15), you can save nearly  50% off your first box using the coupon code “HELLOYUM11“, which would make the box only $10.  Pretty awesome right?
