BrewPony, who kindly send me this package to review, is a monthly whole bean coffee subscription service. Every month they will send you some of the best and most unique whole-bean coffee roasts in the world all while making sure that you never wake up and discover you are out of coffee in the morning. Roasts are tested and sampled by BrewPony to make sure that your coffee will be amazing.
BrewPony ships vis USPS Priority Mail and arrives in between two and five days. BrewPony offers three subscription options – The Double ($29/month) which sends two bags per month, The Quad ($58/month) which sends four bags per month and the Hex-A-Pony ($79/month), which send 6 bags per month. I received The Double for my review.
The February 2014 featured BrewPony Roaster is Sandino Brothers Coffee out of Portland, OR. The Sandino family has been farming coffee for five generations and are committed to sustainable farming practices. Here is what we received:
~Sandino Brothers Coffee (Medium Dark) ($31.90): B tested this out yesterday and I believe that he had three cups, so it must have been pretty darn good. It has flavors of gingerbread, cinnamon and graham crackers and smelled so amazing. Like nothing you’d find in the local grocery store coffee aisle that’s for sure!
Not only is this service convenient, it looks like you would save a few bucks with your membership! Two bags a month ($29) is enough for B, but if not, there are options for up to six bags per month. I think it’s time I get B a coffee subscription service because he is always so into the different varieties he gets and he loves grinding the beans in his special grinder.

When I first saw the “Brew Pony” title, I thought it was going to be for a home beer brewing box. I thought, “What will they think of next!?” 🙂

DO you know if brewpony has since stopped doing these boxes? I was super interested but I can’t get onto their website and thejr Facebook doesn’t say.
